I can, but I'm not very good at it because my handwriting (print and cursive both) really sucks. I can read it too.

I'd rather write in cursive then print. Cursive is really easy to learn and once you can write in cursive it's rather easy to read.

Never put it to use besides that grade. I use print.

The only kind of writing I use is cursive, and I can read it as well. Just wondering, how do people know how to write it but not know how to read it?

It is hard to read sometimes. It depends on who wrote it, I guess.

Yes,we were taught how to in school.I also know how o read it but I prefer to use print since I am very messy when writing in cursive.

I do. They made you do it at primary school after a certain year because you got a high mark for your English SAT grade if it was in cursive.

As I've been taught to do it like that it's stuck. I can do both though.

I can read and write in cursive. However, most students cannot so I would never use it even if I wanted to. :/ You are no longer expected to learn it at any point and I only learned it because a certain teacher WANTED us to learn it. That is kinda sad actually...

Yes, that's right. That was my old way of writing, because currently I use detached writing. However, does not mean that I have forgotten in how to write in cursive. I mean, I can write with cursive too, just that I like more to use detached writing.

i'm kinda the opposite, my writing is mostly strung together like cursive but looks more like print otherwise

it's faster that way for me but my writing is terrible

sometimes mines good, sometime it looks like poop, but mainly because i cant be bothered to lift pen off of paper anymore

We learnt it in like year 5 so I probably could. I still remember getting my 'pen license'. My natural handwriting is not very cursive tho.

i remember i would get detentions for not writing in cursive because i didn't know how but now everything i write is in cursive
