So I aim to get 100% in the game.What actually counts as 100%?

Save File 100% means 3 stars on all story levels. Everything else is just stars towards portal master rank. Platform related trophies loosely tie to both (story mode achievements, time/score mode achievements).

That's all,do adventure packs count?

That's all afaik. I complete a chapter and get a star, percentage complete on save file increases.

They do not appear to, but I don't have empirical evidence since I was doing other chapters the day I did my Adventure levels. Someone else will have to chime in. I do have some stars missing on one of my adventure levels so if no one responds I'll chime back in a bit.

Keep in mind that 100% on save file is just one measurement; there's tons of achievements etc you can challenge yourself to other than getting all stars in story mode. In my view 100% on save file doesn't mean you've "beaten" the game...not by a long shot.

I thought this would be an overanalysis on wether just 3-starring or beating all Accolades and stuff on all save slots constitutes 100%... I am disappoint... ;P

I was hoping this as well, but alas...it is not.

I really wish that the accolades counted to.I mean if I am going to go through all of those I would like at least something in return.I am going to do them regardless and finish and 3 star every level in nightmare along with the swap zone challenges,time attack,score mode ect.Also get level 80 portal master rank but I am still dissapoint but this game is for kids so eh.

If they did that, the kiddies wouldn't be able to boast that they "beat" the game to 100%...no kid left behind lol.

They should have made accolades go towards 200%. I want to see more games that go towards 200%. There's nothing that says you can't do that, it's cool, and it's nice for those of us who do go above and beyond and do stuff that doesn't count towards 100% just for the sake of completion. Then again, then that would be a problem for those of us on the Wii U having collection accolade issues.

In fact, couldn't they just post all of the stats in the display that says x% story x% accolades x% portal master rank. Good idea for the next one if they don't rip the design.

Yeah, I've played Nintendo Games...they did that. I'd like to think that using a percentage should make sense. 100% is all of it. More than that is just bad math.

I keep forgetting that this generation has seen Microsoft please wait messages that say 2 minutes, then 5 minutes, then 60 seconds...I guess knowing what you're communicating is secondary

First six levels are a breeze. Swap Zone is actually decent for the first nine or so. Then they notch it up a bit.

I have 3-starred them all except the last Kaos battle. I am a fan of Nitro Magna Rise for the top damage and bottom evasion. The no damage clear is a real pain, but I feel that it's mostly luck and patience at this point...

I don't have Spy Rise yet.I like to use Shift since I can teleport and stun enemies.

3-starring the SWAP Zones is not necessary for the 100%, correct? You only need to complete it inside a level for the 100%.

No it is not needed but I want to 3 star everything on nightmare.Wish me luck.

It's quite unfortunate that they don't communicate the hardest level you've completed a Swap Zone Challenge on. Which you need to complete 36 of the 42 available to get the last legendary treasure.

Correct. Story mode stars only...which means beating all the bosses without a shot being landed.
