All things considered, Cynder ought to stay in later iterations of the title, but till they announce anything, we won't know. And as for Ghost Roaster, I don't get all the hate, but I'd like to see him return. A lightcore of him would be cool!

Just curious, but has there been any hints about the next Wave? I'm really trying not to sound like a broken record, but I wanted to return to the thread topic so nobody gets in trouble here. I'm thinking we might see something released in Feb, though I'm not sure if it'll be small releases of singles, or what. But looking at the releases from Giants, I get the feeling at least something ought to be coming soon. I'm not confirming this, so don't take it as gospel folks! I have absolutely NO connections to Activision, TFB, or VV. I'm just speculating, and hoping that our friendly insiders are allowed to mention a few things now. If you can't say anything, it's ok. I don't want anyone losing their jobs thank you!

Yes but he's been away for 2 years now, and he is very hard to find. If they reposed him a lot of people would buy him since they don't have him.

why is it so hard to find wave 3 figures?

arkeyan crossbow is at my toysrus they have 3 available but not sheep wreck island at all that was gone the 1st day as they only recieved 1 box and no replenishments unlike arkeyan which was replenished. 1/31/14 walmart release for SWI.

He speaks the truth. Arkeyan Crossbow is at TRU. SWI isn't there yet though. The only reason I've gotten it was I bought it off of Amazon.

I bought SWI at my local TRU yesterday (1/28), along with a Hyper Beam Prism Break. They had 8 SWI packs on the pegs, and all Wave 3 cores and LCs restocked. There was a shopping cart near the electronics counter which contained a bunch of broken down boxes with W3 on the side (and some broken down Infinity boxes), so I think I just happened to stop in right after they had restocked the pegs. They also had 3-4 unopened boxes of W3 figures (at least one was LCs and the rest were cores) on a rolling flat cart.

As an aside, on the rolling cart with unopened boxes, there was an unopened box of Giants core figures which had "W5.1" printed on the side. I asked the clerk to open it and she did. Nothing special/rare inside; just an assortment of Giants core figures which came out towards the tail end of Giants figure releases (e.g. S2 Wrecking Ball; S2 Spyro; etc.). Still, I was pleased she opened the box and let me look.

I got both AC and SWI off Amazon

Does anyone know how hard it is to find the silver heavy duty sprocket?
Can I get it anywhere online?

Found LC wham and countdown in target, still havent seen any corelanders of swi/camo triple yet. Walmart ive seen everything but swi.

Kids that have parents like that end up being socially dysfunctional. My friend ended up being socially dysfunctional (though he doesn't relize it) because of overly protective parents.

Once I played the game when my mother was over and she heard Ghost Roaster and thought he was weird and creepy. She also thought the game was "violent" and games in general would make me turn crazy and sick. It took a very long discussion to fix this, but suffice it to say, if there's any shootings in the news she starts in on this rant. Every. Single. Time. I'm an adult, but I can't really see from anyone's perspective how Ghost Roaster could be anything more than silly and fun. And I'd sure let my kids play with him, were I to have any in the future....

I love how they've made Skylanders appealing to both kids and adults. It makes it much easier to spend family time doing something that doesn't numb your mind to death (like watching Dora, or listening to Bieber). And family should be more emphasized these days, when it's that much harder to find time just to be together.

I'm hoping there's some new info at least on the 1st of next month. Of course, it wouldn't hurt if they released some special team-themed figs to commemorate the Superbowl.

This happens with a lot of characters. You get the jet back if you jump.

It's not much but this little riddle posted on the Skylanders Games FB page confirms that Pop Thorn can't fly.

"I'm full of air, but don't talk much. I have wings, but can't fly. I look blue, but I'm really happy! What Skylander am I?"

Kind of makes sense. Pop Thorn kind of just floats there mostly.

As for returning characters, I'd definitely hope that we get some of the older guys like Sunburn and Ghost Roaster as reposes. Even just LCs like how Whammy got one. To be honest, I see them increasing the amounts of everything. I mean, after all, more characters means more they can sell.

Probably something like:

3 Each of whatever the gimmick characters are. (3 for each element, meaning 24)
2 Each of the Lightcore characters. (1 for each element, meaning 16)
3 Each of the New Skylanders (so like 24)
2 Each reposes (so 16)

That'd be 80 total new figures. It also keeps the numbers a bit more even; more of the new characters/gimmicks and even amounts of LCs and Reposes.

Sounds about right, the only reason I don't see this happening is if they create New Elements.

Target now says Sheep Wreck Island is 2/15 what the heck?!? Walmart a week ago said 1/31! Why is Activision toyong with us on Ship Wreck Island no matter how much longer they hold it back and make the demand higher the ones that want it are still going to want it. I see whats going on and i dont like it! Activision needs to stop!! NOW!!

I got swi a month ago, I walked into my toysrus randomly one day and there it was, along with the crossbow battle back. I live in arkansas, if we got it I feel everyone should have it.

just seen a SWI at my Walmart already have it so just left it there.

They aren't holding it back.. Sheep Wreck Island can be found at Walmart (in-stores) and ToysRUs.

Amazon.com is also getting them in occasionally.

Wait. Wait just a minute here! The Skylanders, as they were, in their absolute cuteness, were too scary? And the solution was to cut their heads off?! "Hey son, sorry but can I see your toy for a minute?" "Sure." *dad goes to workbench, clamps the fig to it and gets out a hacksaw* "Now son, don't worry! It'll be fine. I'm just gonna make it less scary ok?" "....ok?" *dad starts cutting the fig's head* *child screams* "MOMMY! MOMMY! DADDY IS KILLING MY SPYRO!!!" Aside from the Toy Story flashback this brings, did they honestly think this wasn't going to be traumatic in and of itself to cut off the heads of what, to your child, might just be their best friend? That's like....taking your child's teddy bear, ripping the head off in front of them, then giving it back that way. There's something altogether callous about such an action. I understand that to most adults, these are simply toys, but for kids, they can be so much more! They can be a confidante, a friend, or any number of characters they create in a story they play out for fun. The parents that did this need to go to a class about basic compassion!

Headless Spyro? My sister was young when I got SSA, so she kept biting at Spyro's head, until it popped off..

when i say hold back on swi i mean release in limited quantities for an extended period of time i live in an area where skylanders are never flying off the shelf the same day and i usually check every 2 days and my toysrus has not recieved swi since the initial release a few weeks ago also i just checked 2 walmarts in my area today and they do not have swi yet still. I live in daytona beach, fl. btw.

go figure 2 different best buys and neither had them either also i dont buy from ebay i leave that to people who like being scalped with the prices and even if you get them at regular price you still have to pay shipping and no guarantee that the packaging is in mint condition either cuz i collect them and dont open them!

If they do come out near Easter, would they be counted as wave 4? Only asking because that would mean there are only 3 skylanders in the next wave.
