I'd say go with Lightcore Wham Shell. He looks way more appealing and he's a great water Skylander. Night Shift looks better with his original color scheme anyways.

You were asked if you had series 1 whammy, but do you already have the regular night shift? If not then I say night shift, if you got him already then for sure go with whammy

An odd choice to make but first let me ask you what are you choosing for? Looking for funniest of the two to play? Most powerful? Statistical bonus? If for those reasons then grab legendary night shift. If its for your collection then that depends what you currently have in your collection but without the series 1 wham shell then I'd go for lightcore whammy.

Whammy is pretty ho-hum in game though if you ask me.

Well, Night Shift is good, but he is relatively common. The Legendaries aren't drastic improvements.
LC Wham Shell is great, and I am glad I bought him. (Choose Captain Crustacean. He is way better as melee than ranged)

This topic should be closed soon. I figure he was in store asking this, so this is just piling up useless replies.

No offense but, I'm going to have to respectfully disagree. Leg Night Shift looks super sweet! Way better than his original scheme.

Everyone that comes over, almost all of them, pick him up first out of 200 skylanders, and say how cool he is.

I think his looks are one of the best skylanders out there period, but this is just my opinion of course. Happy skylanding! smilie

Unfortunately the LC Wham-shell can only be used in Swap Force. Which is a shame. But of course the same is true of Night Shift as well, so in that sense the two are "even."

Huh. I guess you are right, as my LC Eruptor apparently indeed works in Spyro's Adventure now that I tried it based on your post. But then why does the packaging (as well as the website) say the LC Wham-shell is Swap Force only (just like LC Eruptor as well as other "orange" LCs are supposed Giants onwards only)? That's just confusing - well, more like misleading!

In any case, apologies for my erroneous earlier post!

That's of course true, but making it seem like they're completely incompatible seems like a silly move.

In any case this is good news, as this means I have a character able to open up the fire gates in SSA after all smilie Also certainly moves up the Lightcore Wham-shell to my personal list of potential purchases.

But enough semi-off-topic from me!

All of the Series 3/LightCore characters have a Special tag on them for Giants.
