....I hope they don't do a love triangle...I honestly don't want to see that. Flynn can be amusing, but as a love interest? Bleh. If they bring back Cali, I hope it's for something actually worthwhile that makes her really shine.

At the end of Giants Cali was falling for Flynn. I wouldn't mind seeing her blowing up at Flynn in the next volume. LoL

very unlikely the sheep mage is just another dude who is obsessed with one of the creatures of skylands(like the chompy mage).

If done right (like in a satirical way), a love triangle would be fun. Better yet, Flynn thinks there's a love triangle when there really isn't.
IDEA! A spin-off series of steamy romance novels and soap operas featuring Flynn, Hugo, Cali, Tessa-*shot and hurled into Hydragon's nest*

If it's all in Flynn's head, that would be awesome! Cali and Tessa would stare at him a moment, look at eachother and shrug. Then they'd go off with Hugo to get some lunch.

That's WAY too much thought put into fictional characters and their relationships with one another.

I doubt we'll see Tessa or any of the new pcs in 4. Flynn was on vacation in another part of skylands. This made it real easy for TFB to develop the old characters as they see fit.

Lol I know, I was being sarcastic about the whole love triangle thing. I like satire though, so I'm fine with tropes as long as they're intentional mockeries of themselves. Anyway, overall I dislike romance in videogames (in a sim maybe, but unless RTS counts I never play simulations), I'm happy if they just keep it as is, with Flynn thinking he's a ladies' man.

Of course, there's always Spyro and Ninjini :P if they followed through with that I think we'd all get hospitalized with sickness, and then we couldn't spend as much money on figures, and we all know how the Beings of Avarice that dwell beneath the-I mean, Activision, fells about that, so they probably won't go there.

Lol. It's true that this is a fictional story, but I agree that Cali and Flynn should never be a couple! They really don't mesh, and Cali is wayyyyy to smart for that to ever really fly. Unless they're going for the "last male of the species" angle, which I highly doubt, it's not gonna happen.

And just to throw in my 2 cents: Love at first sight is an actual thing. It happens. I should know. We're very happy, even to this day btw. I know some won't believe me, and that's fine. No one has the exact same experiences, but some of the cliches are true. However, I can tell you definitively that you can't fall in love with two people at once!
