Ok, I got Swap Force a couple days ago and I like the swapping idea, although they are probably going to get lost somehow... (Don't ask how) But I think this "Grim Creeper" character sounds pretty cool and I hear he is in wave 3 along with the Arkeyan Crossbow, with Series 3 Camo ( already have series one....) which upgrade path should I get For Grim Creeper?

I have chosen for the path with the scythe currently, but I don't know for sure. I might want to reset him to the Ghost path thingey... ;>>

I recommend getting both normal and LC Grim Creeper as he is very good.With both of them yu can go down both paths and which ever you you like more you can use what ever version more.

I hope they come back for realzies this time with new Wow Pows and the ability to change specs without resetting and a compass in the stock and a thing that tells time.

If the game is nano it might be sidekicks and seeing small Camo, Zap and Drobot just dawwwwwwwww

@Zapnorris What I wish? They had done a Boomer varient. Even if he was an SSA-based one. They had Xmas as an option, but they missed it. They could always paint his dynomite to look like pencils and have him look like a teacher for some sorta teacher-appreciation day.

Back to the thread topic, are there any hints out there from our Insiders about when we'll see Jade Fire Kraken or wave 4? Just wondering. I know it's only halfway through January, but there could still be a hint out and about. The speculation suggests maybe Jade could come up in March, but since Activision runs this show, they could take this any way they want.

I'll have to remember to look, as i'll be in florida during this event and not in NY, which would suck if they do another time square event as i loved the one last year for Ninjini.

I'm going to figure out how to pop up at one of those shows one of these days.

Speaking of shows, will they finally have a REAL Skylanders booth at Pax Prime already??? A Swap Force booth would be nice. And not the dinky 3ds display outside the exhibition halls. I don't know why Activision hasn't seen fit to do that for the show thus far, but it's really shortsighted on their part. I mean, Prime is over 3 times the size of Blizcon, and yes, it's more limited in space than East. But it's still a big con, even with the crowd limits of the fire code. We get people from around the world. We also get TONS of families! So why Activision? You have no excuse!

A Swap Force booth, or at least something with several of the games featured would be a welcome sight! And they could do special give-aways of rare varients! Why does only the East Coast get the love? I mean sure, there's alot of people there, but c'mon! It's not like we're "lesser fans" over here!

All we get in the East Coast is Toy Fair, which is almost impossible to get into.

@SlayerX11 Lol. No. I live in the West Coast and I can tell you, we don't get "everything else". At least, not ALL of us. Washington state gets shafted a little too often. "West coast first" seems to mean "California" when it comes to releases (any California residents that can confirm or deny this?), and our cons are at the tail end of the season. There's I think only 1 con that's after ours, but it used to be the dead last one. So inevitably, we had leftovers, but if they'd run out of something before august/sept, tough luck Puget Sound! >.> It's sad, because Prime is such an awesome con, you know? Having Swap Force represented there would be nice. That's why I was hoping for news about it on here.

Oh btw, Woodinville Target had LC Wham-shell. Spotted him the other day. Not sure about the rest, as I wasn't in earlier. First thing I saw though was one of them set on the portal display, showing off his lit hammer. I know somebody will say "pics or it didn't happen" but I don't even have a camera phone. I have a cheap basic phone without internet access. I guess I should lug around my camera though next time. Anyway, just letting anyone know so they can be on the lookout.

I went to GameStop hoping for LC Wham Shell and I found 2 Spy Rise and 2 Rubble Rouser and 1 Stink Bomb. I now have the 3 swappers and Im reordering AC

I haven't seen Sheep Wreck Island in a while, but I see Rubble Rouser all over the place. All W3 singles should be pretty easy to find.

Well, it's still not the end of the month. You never know if there'll be info at the tail end, ne? That reminds me....are we likely to see any interesting Skylanders ad during the Superbowl (GO HAWKS!!!<3<3<3)? I know it's a HUGE investment, but maybe something on the same day? Not as likely for the prime hours, but still...something would be nice.

I'm thinking maybe, MAYBE, there is a small chance Activision will announce wave 4 along with the next skylanders game at Toy Fair 2014. Can't wait for Toy Fair 2014.

Hmmm...that could be. Then again, if it's in February, they might have something else to mention. Such as a possible Toy Fair exclusive Valentine's-themed fig? I could see them doing it. I will point out this is speculation and please don't assume it's gonna happen!

That said, if they did it, what would it be? Cupid Flameslinger (like the one in the phone game?), "rosey" or "pink" clear figs? Even....dare I suggest it...a Giant? Or a Swapper? Is it possible they could even make a Swapper clear, while still maintaining it's ability to swap properly? It will be interesting to find out about this as well as wave 4.

Given that Activision has NEVER (to my knowledge) confirmed a release date for any wave, I wouldn't count on one now. They mainly leave that to the retailers. If they had tighter control over the distribution of the waves I could see it but it's almost a "you get it when you get it" kind of distribution....Just look at wave 3. I'm sure they have time tables for the manufacturing and distribution but it's probably a wide range like "first quarter of 2014" or "Spring 2014". Frankly I doubt that powers that be that go to the fairs and shows know the manufacturing and distribution dates...maybe the range but that's it.

The only thing they confirmed was, oddly, the release date of the Glow in the Dark/Clear variants, but I'm sure that was just a tease, and it wasn't even a proper date.
