Ah Menace is right. There's a few listings for it on UK ebay for like £10. That's kind of bizarre, although there's far more that are in the £50 range.

Looks like I have to call up a ToysRUs again, as the main customer hotline for RewardsRUs didn't know what I was talking about, and refused to send the coupon or talk to someone higher up about it..

see thats a very good point. i was looking through the rewards r us membership website and couldnt find anything about skylanders on it.

The way I will handle it if I don't get a coupon is wait for my store to get them in (I will call them when I hear about others getting the coupon). Once I get confirmation that they are at my store I will take my receipt from Day 1 of Swap Force and talk with the Manager (The manager is very helpful in the past). I helped him out when TRU Gill was first realized (He thought they were suppose to have got them that week), I told him about the coupons in January.

Once I show him the receipt there should be no issue.
I for one don't see an issue getting the coupons, as long as you used your reward card.

I can't wait! However, I am just waiting on TRU to screw this up. Fingers are crossed for acquiring this green thing.

I called Rewards Us back in November because I wanted to make sure I qualified for the Special Edition Gill Grunt. I know I did but I didn't get an email saying anything and like exosquad said the Rewards R US website says absolutely nothing. The lady told me that if I don't get it that day to call them back and she made a case for it do when I call they will know what it's about. So hopefully this works like it's supposed to because it stinks that we only have till the 31st...

Last week when I picked up Wave 3 from TRU I talked to the guy working that department and he had no idea how/when the vouchers would be sent.

He confirmed that he certainly hadn't seen any stock of those figures.

Between January 17th and the 31st is the expected date that the coupons will be sent out.

Yeah I talked to a ToysRUs Employee that actually was very familiar with the promotion and had said it should get to you on the 18th. If and when it does you should come that day because of stock Also the dad say you have until the 31st to use the voucher so that would really stink if people got them on the 31st. Well it's almost Saturday so we shall see.

Non-in-game variant of a Series 2 figure, and knowing TRU - they usually gets lots of their exclusives. Probably won't be a huge problem to get one as long as you don't wait to the last second or live in an area rife with scalpers.

The original promotional details back in October 2013 stated that the coupon/voucher would be emailed to qualified Rewards members by January 18th, 2014. The coupon/voucher will then be valid until January 31st, but supplies will be limited and your coupon/voucher does not guarantee that you will receive a Gill Grunt.

I haven't received anything in my email yet. Neither has my wife.

Hopefully soon,thou i plan to get mine the day i get it as i dont fell like having to go to 7 or more tru just to find one.

Hmm..soo does this mean they'll probably have them in store? I have to hope this'll be like L-Trigger Happy where you also bought the $100 worth and then they had them out in stores. Except now the people who bought the stuff have to compete with regular people who are shopping.

Hopefully we'll get those coupons tomorrow and see if stores have them out yet. I'd imagine there'll be something in the ads for Sunday for it.

Not sure how smart Toys R Us is by selling these on-line before sending coupons to those customers who earned a free one. The special edition Gill Grunt was a major part of their marketing of Skylanders Swap Force last year. I know that a lot of people bought from Toys R Us just to get the free figure. I am all for them selling it in stores and on-line for those that want an extra or couldn't make purchases in brick and mortar Toys R Us stores. I just think that they should sell them after allowing those that earned free ones a chance to get theirs. By the way, this has nothing to do with me worrying about these being widely available.

Just got off the phone with Rewards customer service at Toys R Us. The representative said the email vouchers would be sent out tomorrow 1/18/14. She seemed annoyed when I asked about the status of this promotion, and she stated that she has handled the same query from multiple customers today. I always take the word of TRU phone support customer service agents with a proverbial grain of salt, but for what it's worth, the above is what I was told just now, so I figured I would share the info. Be on the lookout for the vouchers in your email tomorrow ... no idea what time of day.
