The "Certified Grade-A" Award
EXPECTING A REAL AWARD?



Is this a pitiful attempt at trolling on my part? Absolutely not! The purpose of naming this "award" was to get you guys to think about who makes the site enjoyable for you. Y'know, create those warm and fuzzy feelings instead of the cold and prickly ones this board tends to give off. There's no scientific way that I could give an award like this. Hell, this is the type of award this whole topic was created to parody. "Best User EVER!!!!1" is extremely subjective. And if you knew that, give yourself 10 HIR points.

To those of you who took the time to right out some heartfelt descriptions of your own, more power to you. To those of you who used reasoning that went along the lines of "because [insert single funny post here" or "just 'cause" or just listed 20 different people...



...Just a tad bit disappointed. Especially if others could take the time to make some thoughtful comments. With that said, next time around, this award will celebrate "The best darkSpyro moment of the year." Just thought I'd put that out there now so you guys can save topics (using that subscription feature) to nominate.

And that brings 2013 officially to a close! I don't care if this is the 12th day of 2014 (13th for our Australia/New Zealand people). The year doesn't end until I say so, damn it! (Disclaimer: Years can end without HIR saying so. ~Greg) So (assuming I'm still here the end of the year and everything's okay), check back at the beginning of December for another exciting (and mildly depressing) installment of the Darkies!

I want to thank you for your time and effort on these awards. For that kind Sir, I applaud you. Your time and effort did not go unnoticed. I enjoyed this topic. I was really shocked when I actually won 2 awards. Wow! Thank you! ^.^

Does it really matter. An award might look good, but it doesn't make someone special or better unless you believe it. It's a made up award anyways, and besides this was for fun.
