There are some links that were discovered around this time last year. They included Super Force, Swap Force, Nano Force, and Kaos Alliance. Swap Force was confirmed to be the third game. If this tells us anything, then I bet that one of these names is the name for this years new Skylanders game. I'm putting my bet on Kaos Alliance. Why else would they make something like that spreading from the ---- Force trend?

I would say, in terms of likelihood:
1. Nano
2. Super
3. Kaos
Super could be anything, but most likely a giant swapper.

Hmm...maybe no sidekicks this time, because they'll be making Nano's? Just my guess.

It's very possible that the others were all just to keep secrecy at the time and none of the others may ever end up existing

Hopefully there is nothing else with the " ...Force" at the end of it. At least mix it up with Brigade, Squad, Team, Patrol, Troop, Etc. if they are going to be so unoriginal.

What type of skylanders are in Kaos Alliance and Super Force?

Since boom cast season 1 ended we can expect to see it come back after toy fair since that's when the new skylanders game will be announced.

I don't see how these Smaller Skylanders would be a good thing? Wouldn't they be weak? So why use them other than the gimmick they would most likely have? Also, how would they be sold? In double packs for the price of a Core figure?

I just want to know why people would want Nano? I really don't see them having a gimmick that will top the Swap Force to be honest, due to customizability (other than more custom features and such but that would require more parts which they've tried and tested...Didn't work)

I don't want Nano Force... We already have sidekicks.

I doubt smaller characters will ever come to market. We have sidekicks already, and if there was a game based around smaller characters, regular core ones would be huge in it, and then there would be the giants.... It would make it too uneven in terms of power.

Maybe I'm crazy, but when I heard the word "Nano" in the title I thought it might be for a mobile device game. I could be wrong though. They've already done Giants, so it would be pretty funny if they did Minis next! Just imagine the campaign:

Announcer"They're tough! They're powerful! And now, they're....tiny?"
little fig "I got it where it counts mister!"
announcer "Kaos won't know what hit him!"
kaos "Ouch! Who did that? You fiends! Hiding yourselves is cheaaaattting!!! Only I may do that!!!
little fig "Hey, why don't you pick on someone your OWN size?" *shows off a powerful move*
announcer "They're the....Nano Force! They may be small, but they pack a powerful punch!"
little fig "Say hello to my little friends!" *shows a swarm of tinier creatures taking out a big guy*

Well, that's a taster of what they could do. The problem is, they'd risk too many children choking on them. Even though the game is supposed to be for 6+ on the box. there are those who give them to even younger children. Even a few babies. So I kinda doubt they'd mass-produce tinier figs for a main game, even if it would be cool.

Sorry. I was trying to stay within the "when are we getting more official info on ___". I went off topic and I'm sorry.

I would agree that Freeze Blade should be either a last wave, or at the least, part of the last Swapper wave. The problem is, we won't completely know if they'll do swappers in each wave. They may even try to use Jade Fire Kraken as part of a wave instead of finishing off the Swappers in total. And just what is in store for the 31st? Is that just for Target's wave 3 cores? Or will the other stores have something new as well?

Personally, I suspect Doom Stone and Punk Shock to be last.

@somePerson It's not a thing. It's a name that they bought, fueling speculation on what it could be used for. So far, Activision hasn't said it was anything at all. So, as far as we know, it's still not a thing. If in the future it does become a thing, it could be big, small, or even Sidekick size. But till we know, who knows?

I'm sorry! I wasn't trying to go off-topic again! i was simply trying to make sure it was clear that "Nano" isn't the Next Big Thing or an Official Rumor.

Please be Fryno and Doom Stone in the last wave, I do not like them as much as the other unreleased.

Fryno might be might favorite character in the whole game. At least based in what I have seen of Jim so far.

I hope trap shadow last wave, I don't care about the cores

I'm hoping trap shadow and freeze blade are not in the final wave. As for the cores, i prefer fryno to be in the last wave. I do not hate fryno. In fact, he may be one of my favorite skylanders. It's just that I like punk shock and scratch more.

Or we can suppose that all of them come out in the fourth wave which would only have a small number of 9 characters, then, sometime between wave 4 and Skylanders 4, the rest of the variants come out.

I'm less curious to the name of the next Skylanders game and more interested in who's making it - is it VV again or is it back to TbB? While I'm fine for the most part with Swap Force, my wife was not and still prefers Giants.

Well for the new Skylanders it's Doom Stone, Trap Shadow, Freeze Blade, Fryno, Punk Shock and Scratch. The reposes and lightcores is lightcore Bumble Blast and then Fire Bone Hot Dog and Turbo Jet Vac. For variants is Kickoff Countdown, Jade Fire Kraken, Nitro Freeze Blade, Enchanted Star Strike and Springtime Triggerhappy. Hope this helps you caught up.

I think Trap Shadow, Punk Shot, and maybe Scratch will be in the last wave, the other 3 are coming next, I hope. I really want Trap Shadow and Scratch they seem like wave 5 material, if there is one this year. Plus Freeze Blade and Fryno were revealed early, I hope that means they're coming soon. I'm not excited for Punk Shot, she looks like a bipedal Zap, same electric and water combo. And Doom Stone looks and acts like Crusher too much. But I like Crusher so I'm sure I'd like Doom Stone.

It did. Seems like there's enough for one more wave with extra releases.

I'm surprised pokemon hasn't cloned this genre more...only thing close that I know of is what they did for the Wii U, though I guess it would make 'evolving' impossible *shrug*
