At E3 they said 2 things that weren't true.
1. They said every lightcore would have a regular version. How do they explain smilie, smilie, and smilie?
2. They said Cali would have something to do with an adventure pack level. Once again, A LIE!!!

I hope you see my point.

I do not. Refer me to your source where they said this. On point #2...I believe they said "we'll have to see".

Either way...no use crying over spilled milk.

RIP GhostRoaster. He's reanimated as TakeYourLemons but occasionally is resurrected from the beyond when needed.

Such a big deal, VV is so wrong.

I think you misinterpreted point 1; they have a regular version but not new to Swap Force (Warnado and Wham-Shell in SSA, Flashwing in Giants). Actually it is kinda useless to automatically have a reposed version for every Lightcore. About Cali, you have a source so we can read or see them saying that ourselves?

Yawn, accusations, accusations. Nothing is wrong with them, every single person in this world makes mistakes.

At E3, the game was still being developed, albeit in a near-finished state.

They specifically said that the NEW Skylanders would be getting both a LightCore AND a normal version, they said nothing about Series 2 LightCore Versions of them. At the time, we had NO clue that any of those 3 were gonna be returning as LightCore.

And the Cali in an Adventure Pack was, according to a developer, just a small possibility.

And for all who cry foul at the "terrible graphics" and "horrible glitches" of the Wii version, it's not VVs fault, Beenox, the main programming team for this version, didn't test the game enough.

Is your point that you are off your meds? Because otherwise, no. Both of those rank about negative fourteen on the Bad-stuff-o-meter. I'd rather every lightcore be a unique, other unavailable for that series figure, and I believe I'm not alone. And as far as Cali goes, meh, whatever - she was a generic sassy, sarcastic character every game seems to have to have.

I once remember when vv said that the old adventure packs would work in SF...unfortunately, they don't.

I was in the room that 1ofwiisdom was in at E3 and they did say Cali would be in the adventure pack (i personally misunderstood at first, but thats besides the point). They did say that every Lightcore would have a regular, but that was in June when they didn't even have a Full Cascade Glade level available to playthrough. When things are that early on, anything can change. I mean they told a bunch of us Pop Thorn was prototype and Rip Tides name was Bubble Trouble. I was also told in the very first Swap Force battle mode to ever get uploaded to Youtube, that Treacherous Beach is available with purchase of Game, when it only gets unlocked with the Arkeyan Crossbow Pack.
The point is people make mistakes & things change.
Everyone at Vicarious Visions is awesome!
The thing you have to ask yourself is, "was it intentional?" if not, then there should be no hard feelings.

If I had come out and told everyone Treacherous Beach is available with purchase, I would get blasted by everyone when they found out it's only with Arkeyan Crossbow, luckily, I have that one on tape. smilie

I was also praying that TFB wouldn't change their minds about Sprocket, Chop Chop & Trigger Happy reposes when they told us back in April on video, everybody doubted that Series 2 Sprocket was coming even though it came from a CEO, but who knows, they couldn't change that last minute too. You just never know.

But, I will try my absolute hardest to get everything video documented in the future if I have the chance to attend any other Skylanders events, because of situations like these, early-on talk can change.

It's true that Beenox programmed the Wii version, but the "terrible graphics" are actually average for a Wii game and the "horrible glitches" are not numerous and rarely game-breaking (actually, the only big problem there was on Wii was the repeated freezes, which has been fixed for a while), so I wouldn't say they didn't test enough. It must be complicated to release a ported game at the same time than the game from which it is ported.

If you want to get mad get mad at the fact that we never got our PROMISED Boomer in S.F. lol seriously things change in the video game land scape all the time from when they are an idea to the actual retail market model. It's nothing to get worked up about. They do this all the time for M.M.O.'s. This is also a different animal in that there are physical pieces that have production needs. It's o.k. to get your hopes up based on an announcement but don't be too surprised if things change. As a side point don't all light cores have a non-light core version? I'm not sure why this would need an announcement.

It was said in such a way that it was assumed that everyone that is a Lightcore in Skyalanders Swap Force would have a Normal figure from Skylanders: Swap Force, the miscommunication is that not all Lightcore's from Swap Force originate from Swap Force to begin with. Some come from Spyro's Adventure, and Giants.

They expied Chompy Mage into the Sheep Mage and had the same picture for an upgrade reused with very slight changes 3 times in a row for most of the newlanders. Aside from the stuff that they said in interviews, which considering the game wasn't finished aren't all that bad(some things are subject to change, after all), whatever VV has of wrong doesn't seem to be enough to care about fixing.
Though that doesn't mean that the thread should be closed, they also mentioned the older skylanders would have stats that reflect their movement speed and other stuff; I think everyone that used a Giant,Spyro or Stealth Elf can be sure of how true that was.
