Was there an actual source that mention the species of the characters? [CLOSED]

I wouldn't count on the wikia page as an official source since it can be edited by just about anyone. I was actually doing a small project regarding Cats in media history. I wanted to include Tessa in as a Cat to represent 2013. I've seen several times where shes referred to as a fox in some chats and in the wikia which would defeat the purpose of me modeling her >.< (Its already half done)

Is there a place that I could confirm the source of the info? Trying to make this work as precise as possiblesmilie

According to Activision, Tessa is indeed a fox.

Lost Islands confirmed Tessa's species, though Flynn hinted her species as well.

The wikia tries to be as accurate as possible with official sources posted on the articles, and reverts any speculation made by fans.

Tessa is being called "FoxGirl" in the game so... smilie
Scratch is a cat obviously. Freeze Blade looks a lot like a cat. Trap Shadow is a "Saber-toothed cat".
But I recommend looking into something else than Skylanders regarding cats in media.

I've heard Freeze Blade is a Cat indeed, a Bob Cat or something like that....

Yeah, many of the Skylanders have no confirmed spiecies (Chill for example)...

It was confirmed in an interview that slobber tooth is a turtle-dinosaur hybrid.
