SO ..... I found 2 boxes in the back and asked permission to open them. She said yes! So, I am sitting in my truck with Stink Bomb, Rubble Rouser, and Spy Rise! My kids are gonna go nuts! They had two boxes. They were all swappers. Most of them were the aforementioned ones. It seems they got more Spy Rise than anything. The boxes were also mixed with some Hoot Loop and Magna Charge. I was happy to pay full price for these.

A target FYI. For every bag you opt not to take (Plastic Bag), they give you .10 off. I mean that's something ... and you are doing something good for the environment.

West Des Moines, IA just picked up the 3 swappers at Target.

So they were they putting them out early? I assume that you're an employee and got lucky opening a box early and that they aren't put out for others to get?

I am not a Target employee. They were in the back of Electronics in a shopping cart, which I did not see initialy. I told the clerk they should have a box of Skylanders figures in a box somewhere. That's when she took me to the cart and I picked them out and paid.

Read the OP and figured " eh what the heck" so I went to my local target (Cumming, GA). Could believe they had all 3 out on the pegs. My boys were so happy as was I, since my Target is notorious for low stock and even lower rates of replenishing it. Guess I can sleep in on Sunday :-)

Rubble Rouser easily the worst of the three based on my gameplay. I think Spy is the best.

Ah, that's my fault for misunderstanding. When you said that you found them in the back, I thought you meant where the stock was kept and not the back of the electronics section lol. Sorry

I can also de-confirm the rumors of a street date, the boxes have none.

Soooo... I highly recommend that you head over to your local Target today, and have a quick chat with a nice employee!

Same story at my (NorCalif.) Target. It looked like their Skylanders section was hit pretty hard over Christmas and had a bunch of empty pegs (good news for Activision). My son asked nicely if they had anymore in the back and the clerk cracked open new box for him. They were nice enough to let him pick the out the ones with the best paint job. No need to wake up early on Sunday

Just walked in to my Target and all 3 were on the shelf. Only 1 stink bomb, but 4 of RR and Spy Rise
Seems that some stores needed to restock after Xmas and put them out.
I bought all 3 (even though I could have saved some waiting for Sunday, but I'm traveling that day).
I assume they will get more stock next week, but hope there aren't too many stores that sell out of their supply before Sunday.
Might be a lot of disappointed shoppers if that's the case.

Crud. I can't go to Target tonight or tomorrow. Saturday at the earliest. Sadface. Oh, well. They'll be plentiful eventually.

Oh yeah, my Target got totally slammed. Not a single Swappable character on the pegs, just an overstock of Giants figures and SWAP core single packs.

None at my Target either, got the vanilla response. Some shady looking guy at the register said he would sell me back my credit card info for a nominal fee though.....that was weird?

The other store, the employee told me he had done the boxes and everything they had was already at. Guess I'll wait and hope they are there Sunday considering the vast number of people on here getting them early. LOL!! Ok, so maybe that worked out a little better in my head than it would have in real life. Maybe being in a public place, he wouldn't want to cause attention to himself by trying to take your phone from you? Some people are just creeps.

I went to the closest Target twice today - once at noon (found nothing new) and again around 6pm. The second time, I got a jolt when I saw a Spy Rise but nothing else. Waited a few minutes and asked an employee if they had any boxes in back. He checked the computer and reported no, they were all out, but a truck should come in Friday night/Saturday morning.

Drove to a different Target in the area and found their shelves nearly full of the new stuff. I grabbed Rubble Rouser and Stink Bomb and ran to the register so fast, the family moseying around nearby must've smelled smoke from my little dust cloud. If you're in Tampa area, it was the store on Vets and Waters. G'luck!

I was just in Roanoke this week visiting family. Didn't get to do any Skylanders shopping though.

Got all 3 @ the Target in Gastonia, NC

Normal, IL Target had 1 Stink Bomb, 3 Rubbles, and 4 Spy Rise at 8pm tonight.

Had to go to 2 Targets but at first one found Rumble Rouser so i ask if the others were in the back he called the manager over and they went in the back and then came back out and said that none of the new Swappers had even got there yet, I scratched my head and then said I have RR in my hands so the others were/are here as they come boxed together. So he checked again and could not find anymore cases of them but said his next shipment tomorrow has a load of Skylanders on it. He searched to see if they were street dated and noticed they were street dated 12/22 this is why they are ringing up at registers street date was last Sunday. Had to goto another Target and got there and the other 2 were on the pegs right in front of me.

in Kansas city missouri. went to 1 target at 3pm, found all the new wave 3 swappers just sitting out on the shelves. bought them and left happy.

Called when I got home from work today to semi local targets was told they didn't have anything new but gonna take the 30 min drive in the am and take a chance if not I'll be there Sunday

I used to work at Target and I can tell you the DPCI #s for ALL Swappers are the same. So, having the DPCI won't help you. You'll need a helpful employee who's willing to break the rules or and take the dated box out of the back.

That's why they aren't locked on the register because if it locked you out of selling those three it would lock out all the Swappers. It never really made sense to me (I mean, it does for simplicity, but not for stuff like this...) but it's the same way with basically all action figures and toys that come in assortment packs.

Any sightings in Texas, preferably in San Antonio?

So frustrating seeing people say that their stores are breaking street dates when I cant get any sort of confirmation from the various Targets around my area. Gggggrrrrrrr....

I was wondering about this after reading my receipt. It just said, "Skylanders - 3 @ 14.99 each;" no specification as to which ones were purchased. This means that I can go and buy any 3 swappers at whatever store currently has the best promotion (I'm thinking Kmart's B2G1 Free), then return it at Target. Price matching without all the restrictive rules.
