and all holidays (except hollies) are only one gender, in a pattern of male(holly in 2007)-male(yule)-female(snow)-female(ribbon)-male(magi)-male(wrapping) so this years will be female (if the pattern holds up)

You get snow every hour, how much you get depends on your forts level.
You can get 9 snow every hour at level 25(max level)

I had 72 new snow today after leaving for 12 hours. At 9/hour, that should be 108 snow.
