Saw this in my sub box.

I've done it another, but similar way, where you can take Spyro to that lake, you can swim underneath one of the nets, and when you come out of the other side you can fly straight out and be swimming in the air, and then swim to the portal to Ripto's Lair, and you can literally swim in through the floor. Probably a bit easier to do as well.

Whaaat!? Ripto has only one phase!? But I remember Ripto has 3 phases at the end and he was always saying "HOCUS POCUS"...

If you 100% it, he has 3 phases.

Ahh!! Now I remember, but still, the battle was extremely glitchy, I lost 57 lives trying to beat the final phase at the first time ._.

The only real glitch I ever encountered on the last boss was when Ripto wouldn't attack so I had to start over. ('Cuz you need him to attack to beat him.)

I did not even remember that Ripto did some longer trash talking in the beginning of that battle. But that is again perfectly explained by the glitchy nature of this game. I normally go with 100 % completion, which is in itself stupid since you practically haven't beat the game yet, to face Ripto and he just starts with his "so we meet again" rant etc. even if it would be the first time you enter the battle in your gameplay.

You can actually just swim right through the floor above the portal to get to the boss. I do it all the time.

What confuses me is why he only has one stage unless you've beat the game 100%. I don't remember, but does the portal actually open before you reach 100%?
