There are Bonus Missions that give you Charms when you complete them. Charms give bonus stats to all Skylanders while they are being played with in game (they are not saved in the toy). There are also Legendary Treasures found in Elemental and Swap zones that you "equip" with the pedestals in Woodburrow.

So there is no way to max all stats?

The first thing I did in Giants was do all the speed challenges because the Giants were so slow. I am loving Swap Force, but it sucks if you can't level up the stats using SF.

From my experience this is what I have learned with Swap Force. Maxing out a character depends on where the character is coming from.

If the character is from Skylanders Spyro's Adventure they require all 50 challenges and Quests from SSA and Giants. Plus Swap Force Quests.

A character coming from SG requires having all 45 challenges and Quests from Giants. Plus Swap Force Quests

A character coming from Swap Force requires getting all the Quests from Swap Force.

Charms are in a different area as they are required for the Skylanders but they are linked to the game, not the characters. They are needed for the characters to have 100% in Swap Force.

So do the new SF characters have better base stats since it is harder to max them out?

Maybe this is why many of the new charcters feel stronger than the older characters.

All I know is you do missions with Gluverscale or whoever but no boost. So hats do the trick!

I dont think anyone has seriously tested it.

Ive seen people say it both ways, most saying that it has no effect at all. Im still working on it. I tried it once with one of my giants and from the first test it looks like you do get a bonus from the heroics off Giants.

But the boost is only like a few points in each category. Like 2-3 points. But im going to try it with a different character and see if those points are the same, or if they change per character etc.

when i have something more definate ill post the characters and their stat numbers.

Skylanders Giants Quest doesn't carry over anything to Swap Force it does count for 100% tho. All Heroics do. The amount of Skylanders for Elemental Bonus in Swap Force also counts. My current highest is 13 and it still was going up. I don't know the number for when it stops yet.

Is this because you tested it or because you are repeating what others have said? Because ive actually tested it. You have to go into Giants and right down your stats (if you have completed all the heroics) make sure your not wearing a hat, you also have to make sure the character you are using has no moves that give extra armor etc when you upgrade.

Then come over to Swapforce and write down your stats, but you have to make sure you have no bonus stats up, for example legendary items, no hat on, and you have to take into account the charms you have so far. I then wrote my stats down for Swapforce. Subtract the difference between Giants and Swapforce stats.

Then you have to totally reset the character. When you then look at those stats they should be the same as Swapforce originally showed because all stats boosted in Swapforce are in game and not through the character if you understand what i mean?

Well there was still a missing difference in points after the reset, of several points in each category. The only way that could possibly be is if the heroics were giving them.

But before i say this is solid fact im going to test in on another character.

I took my Level 1 Lightcore Shroomboom. Took both stats for him at level 1. Did 8 out of the 9 Quests for Giants, brought him back over to Swap Force. Obviously his level is now not level 1 because of Giants ending up getting him to level 13 to get 8 out of the 9 Quests done in Giants.

It's already been proven that stats effect a Skylander through Heroics. SSA Characters have a higher advantage because of the total amount that count. Trying to understand a Giant Skylander has never been provided yet.

Im still testing it. Ive used two different characters that both have completed all the heroics in Giants.

Both characters came out to the exact number of bonus points in stats that couldnt be accounted for in Swapforce. So at this point im 99.9% sure that heroics give a boost (very small mind you). But i have a few more things to test before is say im 100% sure.

What do yo mean here Wicked Rougue? There are less heroics in SSA, and they are the same heroics that are in Giants, theres just more heroics to do.

Are you saying that it stacks it twice? Like it counts it once in SSA and again in Giants?

You have counted the Heroics right? Compare someone from SSA to SG in SG.

I havent been on SSA in a long time. But i know that Giants has 45 heroics, SSA has 32. Also all the heroics from SSA carried over to Giants, they just got a graphics face lift.

I would think that regardless of what game you are in those heroics would only count one time? Like i said i dont understand what you mean that SSA characters have an advantage if the same heroics are found in Giants.

I see. There are a few heroics that didnt make it over (5). The stat boosts for speed and elemental are also higher on SSA. I guess ill work on SSA next and see what the actual boost to stats in Swapforce is.

It would be nice to have some actual figures. From what i did with Giants so far this is how much you get extra in Swapforce from Giants heroics:

Speed 2
Armor 7
Critical hit 1
Elemental 6

So its not a major boost, but it is something.

So now you see what I am talking about cool! Yes they are not huge but they are something that helps. Especially now that Stats are even more important in the game.
