Favorite variant ever! (And I hate smolderdash) But the paint on her is just AWESOME!!!

Wow that is very cool looking. It is amazing how they give their employees something that looks this incredible and then we get to chase after green goo (it is nice, though, to see a company treating their employees well). With that being said, I would love to walk in to a store and find a green goo Scorp or Riptide. And not to sell or even keep boxed up. I would give it to my son to witness the pure joy. Along with the Employee Prism Break and the Toy Fair Chop Chop, this is one of my favorite variants. Speaking of variants, I was disappointed that Activision decided to package the Color Changing Wash Buckler with the cheap version of the Wii U. I think the metallic looking variants are all pretty cool looking, as well. If they would have packaged Wash Buckler with the Black Wii U, I would have bought that instead of the Mario and Luigi bundle.

I want it! It looks so cool.

I hate/love these holiday exclusives... I need to get a job on this game.

Either way it's very odd she doesn't appear as "Special" in the game, but items like the toyfair ones will.

I would bet that it doesn't based on previous history, I will let you know when mine arrives though. With Christmas mail I really don't know how long it will take to arrive, I'm hoping by the end of this week.

2012 Employee Prism Break appears as "Lightcore" in game, so I'm guessing this will be the same with that Smolderdash. Maybe the Lightcore tag has priority over Special or Rare?

Nope, flocked Prism Break is the lightcore version and still appears as he should.

Are you seeking confirmation that Employee Prism Break appears as the standard Lightcore version? If so I can confirm that he does appear in game as a normal lightcore character.

Thanks activision. Your "fans" appreciate you giving the best figures you make to the people that only have jobs bc we"fans" buy your product. we are thanked by getting really rare variants shipped out so only a few get them and they usually end up on ebay. One of the main reasons I stopped collecting or buying more than one of each figure. I've just bought one of each figure this time around and opened everyone of them. Any extra money I have no longer goes to activision. We got a blue bash in SA and nothing since. They really appreciate us giving them our money.

We want the figures too. But are we really going to fault a company for rewarding their employees with a special version of what they create? It seems kinda---not sure what the word is ...but not right. Every company I've worked for has given gifts that were unique to the company and not available to the public.

As rare as this is, I think I've got something far more rare.



These were made by Vicarious Visions specifically for an event at their headquarters. About 30 game journalists (myself included) were invited to tour V.V. headquarters and play the game back in September. Only about 30 of these were ever made (one each for all attendees) and I've yet to see a single one on eBay.

We also got these:




These coasters were made for a special cocktail reception the night of the tour. I managed to sneak away with a complete set (yes, there are more swappers than this, but the only made eight of them into coasters). They even had a specially drink called the Wash Buckler!

People can get employee additions with patience and too much money, but these might be rarest of all.

I've edited out the info on the business card - I don't want to give the numbers and emails of a V.V. staff member out to the world.

I don't blame Activision for giving their employees anything. I just think they're crazy for not mass producing this variant as a retailer exclusive.
I'm not huge into variants in general, but this figure is gorgeous and I imagine, far more popular than Jolly Bumble Blast, or anything else for that matter.

Wow...those coasters are awesome....seems like they would be a cool product to release.

Lesty--that point I can agree with. It's a cool one. I think those coasters were at the gamestop convention in vegas. The manager showed me them when he had just returned from there. They are neat. Someone tweeted about them too....someone from ds I thought.

By the looks of it, she's actually glittery, clear, and clear blue, all at the same time.

If you look closely at her chest/neck, you can see the wires inside of her.

Best gift my company can give me is money.

Yes...money is preferable. But normally we'd get cash and a couple other things one of which focusing on the companies focus.

Personally, I prefer receiving a unique gift than a cheque of money as recognition. And also, in my opinion, selling the gift is disrespectful.

My company has performance criteria for bonuses, and that works just fine for me. No need to feel like I disrespected anyone, and it helps push company's objectives (ie make more money).

Yeah we just get bonus checks... i to would like to get one of these Snowderdash's but im not paying over $100 bucks for one....one- its a toy...and two- its a Non-In-Game Variant....and three- i can make my own since its not an In-Game Variant. Also i like the pose of the Standard Smolderdash over the Lightcore Smolderdash.

^ Yeah if Snowderdash had the non-lightcore Smolderdash pose, it would be so awesome! She wouldn't had the light effect though.

Polar Whirlwind was my favorite back in Giants as a Variant, now this one is definitely the best. Wish she could be purchased.
