Just came back from the "free play event"
It wasn't anything special

I did buy a Jolly Bumble Blast (Meh came out yesterday but at least I got him now)

Also I "won" a few give aways
Prizes
1. Lego small pack (Harry Potter Legos which SM appreciated for her gigantic lego collection)
2. Disney Infinity Key chains (Keeping in package just in case they are worth something later due to exclusiveness)
3. Mario 3D land stickers ( lame )

They handed them to us the second we were buying Jolly so guessing it is a random thing since the clerk said "Looks like you won all 3". (Might not be though)

Not be completely off topic, or to speak of something that's probably in the wrong place, but does the fiery forge figure light up? was wondering because the giant's battle pack pieces did.

Just figured I'd post this for anyone who is interested in Jolly Bumble Blast. First, when the bees are shot from the cannon they are normal, no candy cane striping. Second, if you take his Bee Keeper Path, the upgraded cannon turns the bees loaded into the cannon normal. However, the bee backpack is colored white so it looks like he has a shack on his back. Thus, if you want to keep the candy cane striping on the bees, go the other path, I think honey tree.

I'll try and make this less choppy.

1. The bees shot from the cannon are normal, no candy cane striping.

2. The upgraded cannon on Bee Keeper path takes away the candy cane striping on the bees loaded into the beezooka,thus they look normal (black and yellow instead of red and white).

3. The beehive back pack is white so it does match the color scheme.

Thus, if you want to keep the candy cane striping go down the Honey Tree path, not the Bee Keeper path with the upgraded beezooka.

Hope that makes better sense.

Personally Dune Bug is my most sought after Newlander in this set. Stink Bomb will be nice so we can finally explore all areas of the game but I'm not overly excited for him. Dune Bug was a must have from the first time I saw him. Awesome art design as well as an amazing paint job. I just hope he's not another Warnado. I was the same way with Warnado and greatly disappointed in his overall performance. Activision clearly hates us by having such an important release this close to Christmas. So many children will wake up sobbing X-mas morning when they realize that Dune Bug isn't under the tree and grow up to be tower shooters...

My gamestop says they are expecting a package then that definitely has a few new skylanders (Wave 3)
