Give me a break. I really think many of you take "fantasy games" to a different level, spilling over out from your PS3's and XBox's and Wii's.

The photo is still on the 1st page of this thread. That means that whatever site was hosting that image is still hosting it. Rather, the original poster, "MulletMaster", probably edited his posts to remove the image link. He may have done that at the request of his "friend" at Activision, or he may have done it just to avoid drama, or he may have done it because he was scamming us all along. We may never know. Maybe we will.

They have actually done that before not too long ago. When leaks of other Skylanders for Swap Force were revealed, dark52 posted them on a news topic, then Activision contacted him to take the images down.

Of course Activision can contact Dark52.

But they can't just swoop in and remove images on their own with supernatural powers or a magic zapper wand.

No, but they can contact the member who posted the image and ask them to remove it.

It is a very lovely figure, but if it is real, I doubt I'll ever see one. Good luck to the rest of you in the event of it's autenticity.

Hmmm....I think it's about time Activision at least give us a list the real chase varients (that have been released that is). It would show us what is legit, and it would prove to fans that Activision at least cares if they get scammed or not. Some of those fooled have been parents and children, and helping them to stay informed would be reassuring right?

But that would mean they would have to be responsible. Heck, their Vault app doesnt even recognize half of the actual variants out there.

And it's this type of reaction that is EXACTLY why we must be skeptical and diligent about preventing bad/false/fake information from being introduced and publicized on the forums.

Nothing personal, Camo-Master; you're not the only one.

An interesting side note: WERDS and Blue Bash - both figures, the bases were solid color (except for the green plate on the bottom). Green Gill Grunt, the new Green variants and the custom green figures on eBay all have the standard bases.

This figure has a solid-colored base, much like WERDS.

Anyone know how hard it is to take the green base off of the figures without damaging it?

And to re-iterate--"exists" means it's rolling out in shipments...not that someone at Activision had a 3d Printer and thought it would be cool to make one.

It looks real from the image. Though it could just be a repackaging of a prototype. Either way it would be a collectors item. The real question is, will it ever be made to be sold in stores.

Chris PM'd me back a while ago.
He's busy lately, and he probably needs to email several people for confirmation if it's real.

Though, I think this might be a prototype, like the Crystal Stump Smash and Crystal Prism Break.

I think someone made this and its fake.
