Okay, something really weird just happened. I used to be at Rank 56, but all of my collection stars disappeared! Now I am rank 48! What is going on!? Even when I restart the game, it shows I am Rank 48! What is going on! I need help!

71 atm, i think it's great that we get capped at 80 (so we don't need to get all the stars) becaus i will never have all the characters, so i will never have all the stars smilie but i can still hit lvl 80, which is nice smilie

we finally hit 80 and feel a little ripped. I know we need to work that last bit of % of the game completed but there are plenty of more stars to get too. What's wrong with a nice round cap of 100? Now waiting for that stink bomb.

Just almost done with the regular Story Mode. Then you have Bonus Missions, Arenas, Score Challenges, Time Attack, SWAP Zones, etc...

I reached Rank 80 about a week ago actually. It was good to finally reach that rank, but I still need to get the rest of the collectibles. GIVE US STINK BOMB!

Some people think it's ok that the system selectively decides to stop adding the stars once you hit 80. I'm not one of them. I'm fine with the achievement at 80, but supporting adding all of the stars you can get. Another reason to do this is because they've heavily stacked everything in the game to the star achievements...

Yet another downfall of having the wii version, my game artificially let the portalmaster rank increase every time we took a player two character off the portal and had P2 unjoin and rejoin. Rank goes up by however mant stars you earned to go up in rank. Sounds like a beneficial glitch at first, but powering off and coming back to the game resets it and perma glitched a few star chalenges under collection and achievement. Was at a legit rank of 35, but started on a clean save to earn the missing stars smilie.

I am at 80 and my 4 year old son is at 19 but has completed the game in easy so far, not he is working on hard.

I am trying to figure out how to get the "bold gold" accolade (earn gold toy quest)

Finally 25.
So to get a couple stars I tried adding Metallic Gill Grunt and then LC Hex (still both in boxes) since we have 28/30 orange base characters. LC Hex made 29/30 but nothing for Metallic Gill Grunt. The only other GG we have is from S:SA. Any one else notice this? Otherwise my son and I are going back for more stars on each level and challenges etc. He is only 5 and I'm a very casual gamer.

I am now rank 80. Enough stars to make it 100 easily. Doing Time Attack / Score, Nightmare Swap Force Challenges, Nightmare Story Mode, and doing other stars. 90% of my Swap Force collection is fully upgraded.

Kinda feel empty today despite all the busy work remaining.

Story was ok and started to slide (in a bad way) Frostfest and on.

50 now. With no swappers beyond WB and BZ it's starting to get trickier to get stars and thus levels.

Remember, you start at Rank 1, so that's an extra rank that isn't factored into the stars.

Assuming there wasn't an artificial cap at Level 80, you have:

Story Levels - 57 Stars
Swap Zone Challenges - 126 Stars
Bonus Missons - 60 Stars
Time Attack - 57 Stars
Score Attack - 57 Stars
Survival Arena - 120 Stars
Fully Completing Levels - 87 Stars
Unique Challengs - 53 Stars
Hidden Treasures - 52 Stars
Skylander Collection - 94 Stars

763 stars gives you 127 levels worth of stars that you could earn (762 / 6) plus the level you start with, so your "virtual" maximum could be considered be Portal Master Level 128. Or 128 1/6 if you want to count that extra star left over. smilie

You only need 474 (79 * 6) to reach Level 80, which means there's almost 300 optional stars. You don't have to worry about the Team Arena if you only have one controller, you don't ever have to play a level on Hard or Nightmare, you aren't going to be blocked from hitting maximum rank if you don't own any figures from Spyro's Adventure or Giants.


As more people get to 80, I'm curious who has the time/guts to get every star? Kinda wished they rounded up to 100...but for probably the reasons you dictate...they didn't want to alienate some from the top achievement.

I managed to finish it last night on Nightmare using Magna Charge - he gets some crowd control using Attack 2 & Attack 3.

I used it to drag the club guys around and hold them overhead to get some breathing space.

Also you can stand your ground while destroying the missile turrets and wear hits rather than let them hit the fruit.
