Yeah it was removed...because theres no way he/she could get a stock...whole box of those Chase Variants.

The only good Chop Chop chase variant is Toy Fair Blue Chop Chop.

I expect for this bugger to sell for al least anywhere from $150 and up. Green Rip Tide is getting quite expensive.

This is dragging off-topic, but just in case there are any naive, gullible, or impressionable consumers reading this as they search for information about Skylanders .... do NOT, under any circumstances, fool yourself into believing that ANY "pre-order" on eBay is a "good deal". Many, if not most, of those are scams, even the ones that skirt the wrath of eBay by adding the correct disclaimer text to their eBay listing notes. Even the ones that aren't scams are almost always, at best, price gouging.

If the Seller can't commit to having the item in-hand by a specific, verifiable date, then steer clear completely. And be exceedingly extra skeptical of any eBay seller that promises to have rare variants in-stock prior to their dispersion into the general public via legitimate retailers. Buyer beware.

i knew they would be more of them just like other variants from activision they just surface slowly there will be more of these out in the weeks to come i persume

Is it just me, or all these new clear green variants in the European hook packaging? Maybe they're not even put into the circulation of figures being shipped in the US. Perhaps to drum up business and collector interest overseas?

And if it is that they're only UK/Europe chase figures, it adds to the credibility that all these US-based preorder guys listing these on Ebay with pics of the figures in European packaging are indeed scammers and you'll never get any products you preorder through them.

Based on history, they usually do 2 or 3...so I'm guessing that's it for the greenies. Riptide, Scorp and Chop Chop.

Yeah it was a bundle for the SSA Xbox...just like the SG bundle for the Wii with Gnarly Tree Rex in it...except they didn't single pack Clear Green Gill Grunt.
And they didn't do any Clear greens for Skylanders Giants.

Yes he is...he's darker....if you have a Zoo Lou...his mace is the clear green they are using for these 3 new Variants.

Just checked it on the Portal, as you requested, and yes, it does show up as "special" and begins at Level 5 with 2100 coins.

Could be. The Toys R Us that I found this at on Wednesday had a mammoth supply/stock of all three generations of Skylanders. There were easily 1,000 (probably more like 1,500) Skylanders on the shelves/pegs for sale, and a sizable chunk of that was "fresh" stock. There were zero blurple variants to be found, and this was the only snot-green variant there. It's possible that I missed something, because the supply was so ridiculous, but I was fairly thorough. I'm certainly not complaining, but if I'd had my choice, I would have wished it was the snot-green Scorp; I think he's a lot cooler looking than the snot-green Chop Chop.
