Yes you can. I didn't take my ps4 starter pack portal out of the pack. I just used the ps3 one.

As far as I know, the Wii, Wii U, , PC, Ps3 and PS4 portals are interchangeable.

The 3DS portal uses a different form of connectivity so it is not usable on any other version.
The 360 portal is tethered via USB and is not usable on any other version.

i have the 3DS portal and i have used it on my ps3 and pc.... so it is only the x360 portal that dont work with anything else than the x360. the most likely reason for this is because the x360 is crap and need some special thing to make the portal work.

sorry to say it but there will not be any swap force for the pc.... it was only ssa that you could play on the pc.

360 Portal only working on the 360 has to do with how Microsoft handles the codeing for the Portal to work on the console itself.

No cause microsoft has a security thingy with the usb port that would make bluetooth and other usb not work.

Exactly! They have 'special' conditions on everything, including 'patches'...it gets frustrating.
