I preordered swap force at target to get the UFO hat card. I purchased the dark edition at GameStop instead and so I never picked up the free lightcore hex. With all the Christmas sales on starters upcoming I am thinking of picking up the 3DS version. Does anyone know if I take the reservation card to target and purchase at target can I still get the free lightcore hex? The card itself says that the reservation will only be held for 7 days, but I would just be picking up the starter and the hex figure from the shelf and going to check out. Anyways anyone know the answer? Maybe someone that preordered for PS4 (if that was even an option)?

No, you will not get a free LC hex.

There should be a coupon on the reservation card which is redeemable for Lightcore Hex however it has a listed expiration date of "7 days after launch". Otherwise you'd have a shot.

Just ask for a manger if they give you a hard time and I'm sure they will do it for you!

The game released 10/13. The card says they rserve it a week, you cant honestly expect him to get a pre order bonus om an item he never picked up.

You could probably argue the official release date for the PS4 edition was November 15, in which case it's still under 7 days. Does the card specify which platform?

The reservation cards are console specific.

My question is, Why didn't you pick up LC Hex (Free) when you picked up the Dark Starter? I did.
GS was offering the same promo with the Dark Starter.

I thought the same thing at first, but then I figured he didn't pre order it from GS.

Yeah I didn't preorder the dark edition at GameStop. I hadn't even planned on getting it until I was showing my son all the figures online to determine what might be his favorites. He spotted the dark figures and I was like "oh no" . I went ahead and picked up the 3ds starter tonight at Walmart with the frito lay coupon since the sale is already live. For that price I don't think I will be missing the lightcore Hex. Haha.

You know come to think of it maybe because so many of us only bought the reserve cards at target and other stores maybe that's why so many of these stores have so many copies of the game that were produced and didn't sell as to give items to sell for black friday at half off. Makes you think some in all of this. How many of us preordered the game and never picked it up? I'd say I'd be guilty from target to reserving 5 copies of the game for the cards and not even bothering to pick up any from there. The dark edition won it over for me. Just got the 3ds version today for 27 from the sale plus 10 buck off coupon.

I'd say just suck it up and buy the figure or ask gamestop for it if you got the dark edition, if they say no just leave it at that, pay the 13 bucks instead of more for just a figure.

Target preorder card states you have 7 days from the release of the game to pick up your order. In other words by now those copies are free to the public to buy. Some stores may have over bought panning on this, who knows.

I saw some in my local Gamestop the other day. They had 4 i think.

If you haven't picked up your preorder by now, then don't expect a free figure unless you paid for it in full in advance. No retailer is going to hold around something for you until you come in and pay for it a month after the item is released. That being said, it's on sale for under 10 bucks at Amazon...
