Those double packs are already available from Oz Target stores - started turning up early-mid last week.

Thank you Derek for quoting my post that did not say "confirmed". Also never said what lesty said was "proof", just that if "proof" is what is being sought he had said something and he hasn't been proven wrong yet. Go ahead and argue over semantics if you like, but my post is clear that I referred to it as a good indicator and wasn't an ad (given that you agreed that would be definitive, later). Seems strange that you would attempt to mock someone for not knowing the definition of words when you quite clearly are having some trouble on the uptake.

I don't think you can consider what I said as "lying". Now "lying" would be saying I had proof of when Wave 3 would come out, reference my own writing as proof, then when it was discovered I wrote it say I had inside sources, then when pressed admit I didn't have inside sources and I really had no idea when it would be out. I'm glad I didn't do that, because boy THAT would be embarrassing.

Now again, really clear: Wave 3 isn't confirmed, but a really reliable source gave us a good indicator.

You know Derek, you just seem to have trouble with the term "lying". Because that thread from a year ago was clearly everyone jumping on you for making stuff up. Way to go revisionist history, too bad we can't just pull it right up (which no doubt you are depending on here). Declaring you somehow "won" is laughable, but you keep acting like that. You walked away with your tail between your legs when you were forced to admit your "inside source" was just the standard marketing talk they fed you. Calling you on something, then being proven right isn't embarrassing, maybe embarrassed for you.

I have to admit, that a simpleton that cannot read into the meaning of a comment might read what I said as definitive, I was just hoping you might be a little more literate. Right after that comment I immediately "hedged" saying we had not seen an ad yet, so it isn't definitive. Are you the type that just reads the first sentence and make up the rest in your head?

I'm a frequent poster, and I imagine hardly any many consider me a "compulsive liar". I post my thoughts and perspective, and back it up with what I have seen. I have a pretty good memory, which is a bane to people that just like to argue for the sake of arguing. Just an FYI though, "lying" doesn't meaning "stuff I don't agree with". Only one of us has been busted fabricating information as fact, and it isn't me. If that's what you call "winning" at the Internet, then aren't you special?

The bottom line is no one knows for sure when wave three will be released. After looking at it again it makes since that TRU (if they do in fact have a two week or so exclusive on all future release waves) would release wave three after black Friday and not before. After I saw that they are having a special "buy one get one 70% off" on all Swap Force it didn't make since to release them during this sale since people will pay full price for the new figures. So early to mid December makes fiscal since even though I personally hate it. Competition will be at a fevered pitch. I've copied a link below to the add for reference.

Interesting fact from my regular TRU I learned yesterday. They have some boxes of lightcores labeled not to be sold until Dec. 1. Now the boxes are of figures that are already out, but why have boxes they are holding at all? Now I am not saying it means wave 3 will be out on that date. It's possible there's just some promotion on figures, or they want to make sure not everything gets sold on Black Friday or some other reason, but it might be worth keeping an eye out.

The 12/1 dated Wave 1 Lightcore boxes started coming in stores about a week ago, it is very puzzling - they must have an ad planned or something. prim on CAG (a TRU employee) mentioned they got theirs about a week ago. Lightcore cases have been very light so far according to what I have seen. They obviously learned last year when they sat on shelves for long periods, although the Wave 1 LC case assortment is FAR more interesting this year than last.

I guess they want some Lightcore figures to be in stock at every store, they are planning some promotion stuff, at least here in Germany.

Also, in regard to Dec. 1 - Notice Amazon France has changed their release date to Dec. 3. Now I said this when it was Nov. 15 on their site, and I will say it again, that doesn't necessarily mean that's a date certain. Nor does it mean, even if it is, that it signals anything for the U.S., but it's one more indicator that could mean Dec. 1 is a date to watch.

This is what I was told as well. I'm taking it with a grain of salt, as the whole promotion idea seemed to have been slapped together last minute. No one had details about the whole "January" thing until a week or more after the fact, despite the figure being advertised in the flyer for the release date.

well i knew the 0ct 13 release night how it would work an employee came out and explained it. saying that between oct 13th and dec 31st once you spend $100 before the dec 31st date then on jan 18th 2014 they will start sending the emails out. you will receive a email to your rewards email address with a voucher to pick it up between the 18th and 31st and to ask for a e-receipt for our purchases tonight to confirm your rewards email is working.

okay, i see now there will not be possible to get the none light-core or ordinary figures if you not buy the battle packs... its like they try force you to buy these useless battle packs. its getting ridiculous....

i dont have place for all the figures anymore and i must stick to the ordinary ones and one of each figure, that means no variants... like i did see the grim creeper legendary ligh-core, and it was the only one in the shops everywhere. originally i wanted the regular grim creeper but he is not released before like 3 months here around. around that time i am pretty much done with the game, so to put it short i was forced to buy this butt ugly gold legendary light-core grim creeper. i put him on my portals and then hide him in the closed, hes so ugly it makes me sick...
