The LED's arn't powered off the 5v power supply....they are powered off the RF 13.56mhz signal.

While the base was on the portal and powered I hooked up a multimeter to the wires leading to the LED and they are providing 5V DC.

When i said..."Anyway, after i got him apart i had another idea <eg> " So when i disassembled mine...i realy tolk it apart.

Well i finaly got my Epic Ultra Rattle Shake done...Woo Hoo!
He turned out rather well....here he is!

Technically I never finished Chop Chop. Still looking for the right fabric for the apron.

I do like the GITD. Where did you get your paint?

It testors fluorescent paint.

I put a base coat of Tamiya Acrylic flat white.

Ice Rip Tide.. Pretty cool!

You beat me to it skylanderex... ...your clear Riptide looks good. I ran out of funs...lol...so i have to wait till this coming pay day so i can get more supplys. I am planing on doing a clear Stealth Elf an Stump Smash....might do some others later on...as i can aford it.
Also Gameboys im hoping everyone here likes what im planing to do with Hot Head.

Close, I used 73-20, that was a random guess. Ha

with 73-20 dont u need vacuum machine to get the bubbles out, i know 71-30 is much easier to work with in small applications but i use to use 73-20 in the past just could not get all the air bubbles out and was harder to work with i think i meant 71-30 hit the wrong button i havent worked with the stuff in awhile

It's really hard to tell from the one picture I have seen. But it looks like it needs to be a little more yellow. The new ones don't look to be the same color as Gill Grunt. Also keep in mind I died these after I cast them so that will make a little difference in the color as well. Still experimenting.

skylanderex if you have a Zoo Lou, look at his mace...all the new Green Variants are done with that shade of transparent green.
And if you don't have him yet...got get one...lol.

They look lighter an darker in the pictures because of the lighting when they took the pictures. My father was heavy into photography..and light is everything...lol. Also he was a camera repair tech back in the day when 35mm was all there was.
So it is the mace clear green plastic...its the mix there using now. When they do the next batch for the Skylanders 4 figures....im sure it will change again.

Anyways to those of you that told me they like Shroomboom...i finaly finished him...here he is.

He kinda looks like a minion from despicable me.

Those names are good....How about Venom Shroomboom? Because just like those colorful frogs...they are quit venomous.

Just look it up on YouTube bro....there are lots of videos on the 73-20 silicone....and there are videos on how to make your own vacuum machine. There rather simple to make.

Nothing fancy - my son wanted a blue Wham-shell. I like how it turned out.

^ Agreed, there are way too many steps and materials needed to tell you how to do it here. Plus its expensive. With the pressure pot, silicone, epoxy, dye and other materials I invested more than $300.

By the way I wasn't real happy with the 73-20, it left too many bubbles in the cast and it doesn't have a long enough working time to vacuum. I ordered some Smooth-On and will give it a shot this weekend.

I plan to google it, but jees, $300? Im saving up for a new laptop!

OMG Taht Grinch Rider is sooooo cool! Speaking of Christmas stuff, I had an Idea inspired by something off the SSF Boards:
A fully fledged 10 figure Santa Sleigh! Here is how it would work:
All the dragons (The 8, plus Flashwing) are painted like reindeer, with Spyro at the front being Rudolph. Now they would all be connected by reins (tiny felt things) and it would all lead up to a Santa sleigh with none other then Boomer as Santa Claus! Boomer is a waaaay better Santa candidate then Bumble Blast.
So this would require:
Spyro, Cynder, Camo, Zap, Sunburn, Whirlwind, bash, Drobot, Flashwing, and Boomer
helluvalotta paint
felt for the reins
a sleigh for boomer
and god knows what more. Could you imagine if someone did this?

Lol! So you're doing a twist on my idea? Show pics when you're done ok? I'm debating trying this myself if I can get a great deal on the series 3 Spyros. Not very likely to happen, but I think it would be hilarious to have it as a decoration for a tree, you know? Oh how Activision will wish they'd thought of it! They could've sold soo many Santa Boomer and his reindeer sets!
