So now I'm stuck in that place where, I don't want to 'fake' a Skylander, but purchasing that would be virtually impossible. Though I think to be truer to the above (usually), it should be a less 'chrome'/'shiny' gold and more matte...like the Bronze Hot Dog.

Right, but if we're talking to the development team we're talking about 200 or less right. Definitely not the large numbers that edition produced. (~5k IIRC).

But folks---gold characters? I hope there's something special that someone can't try and reproduce--thought they learned their lesson from SSA.

I'm guessing $600+ if my production numbers are spot on. If produced in quantities like EE Prism Break then we're talking $300 range.

I wonder if there will also be a different Employee toy... cause if they called it "Exclusive Dev", it must only be the devs, not all employees, meaning it will be very hard and very expensive to get :/

They've been making a lot of "colour shift" variants which takes away from this one IMO and also he's a lot less colourful than the regular version. I personally am not a fan and like this a lot less than last year's Prism Break.
