Store employees is kind of vague and ominous considering that most of them tell me they have no clue unless it's a store exclusive. Amazon (U.S.) has no searchable references for any of the wave 3 swappers...unless you're talking about the European Amazon? Again not being rude I just find it funny when some users (not you) expect us to know and believe what they know, second hand no less, as fact.

let's get this straightened out.

I work at TRU and there is no release date for wave 3. Don't believe rumors. Truth is most of the time the stores don't know until the night before they come out because the truck gets unloaded the night before so the overnight crew are usually the first to see them. TRU has early releases on all of them before Wal-Mart and Target so if I don't know yet then none of you do. As soon as I hear something I will post.

This is true, to a point. Sometimes early heads up comes out when tied to a sale paper. We found out about Wave 3 last year due to a sale paper at TRU a few weeks early (then found out what was in the cases right after that when the street dated shipments started to arrive). Those ads are printed weeks ahead of time, and often store employees in some positions will see them ahead of time. In order to coordinate, the stores need to be aware of an impending releases.

And as for proof of Wave 3 being mid to late December/wide release in January, well lesty relayed information on this recently in another thread. He obviously did not provide the ad or anything (since it would likely cost him his job), but I think his track record on advance knowledge speaks for itself. He hasn't been proven wrong yet after several heads ups. The only truly reliable source that has spoken up says mid December, at the earliest.

That's not proof. I'll give credit to both Lesty and Unclebob. The two of them are pretty good with info, and when they say something I'll pay attention, but they have both been wrong before as well. Bottom line, and I have said this before - the only things that constitute proof are the actual ads from major retailers, word from Activision/TFB, or pictures of product in store. Everything else is speculation, even if some speculation is better than others.

That makes two of us buddy. He's my second favorite character in the whole game and think he's gonna be awesome.

I'm dying to get all the swappers in this wave, just this and the first wave and I can 100% the game first run through, no need to wait to get characters.....

Funny thing I noticed, the wheel at the top corner of the swappers on the website all say their appropriate name, but the picture shows ____ Rouser even if the name is the whole character....

*sigh* Wave 3 was "CONFIRMED" by Amazon France for Nov. 15, too. Conformation is an ad from a major retailer (and confirmation for release in the U.S. is one from an American retailer, like Toys R Us or Wal-Mart), actual in-hand pictures, or word from Activision. I'll say this in caps for emphasis - EVERYTHING ELSE IS SPECULATION.

I know everyone wants to be that person who is the first that can confirm the next wave, and get all the internet attaboys, but this has to stop. All it does is cause disappointment. At my regular TRU, people were coming in on the 15th and 17th, convinced that wave 3 was coming out on those days. They wasted their time and were disappointed to boot.

You are trying to split hairs, here. I already acknowledged both Lesty and UncleBob have good info a lot, but even they get things wrong sometimes. Again, until we get one of the sources I listed above, nothing is confirmed.

We just have to wait.

And, the pack looks amazing!

The context is that it is not worth getting another Camo for what that poster considers is a sub-part wow pow.

The solution is to buy the pack and then re-sell the other figs if you don't want them - you offset the pack cost and get the fig you want at a reasonable price.
