I'm having a problem adding Skylanders to my collection for my collection accolade. They are added into my Skylander my collection, but I'm not getting stars for my Portal Master Rank. Is anyone else having this problem?

we're not able to add any skylanders we've played in other games. we can add new characters, but nothing old. any hero with this?

I can add old and new just by placing them on the portal.

This, all you do is put them on the portal and the rest is automatic.

Oh, dear. Your suffering the glitch too. Let me give the details. It was discovered a while ago that there was this glitch, that or some unknown cause, appears, that completely wipes your collection accolades, and they will not come back. The only way is to start a new save.

Has anyone tried to ask a friend to take the ownership of the toy on his console and take back the ownership of the toy at your place after? Or just create a new profile to try this? Maybe this can give your stars back?

It would be very helpful if you add the platform (PS3, XBox360, Wii, Wii U, PS4, XB1) where you have problems.

I am playing on the Wii and have a problem with it. When I look at the accolade for collection they are all there and it shows stars on the main portal master screen, but when I open the file it shows no stars. At one point it did have 3 stars for all green base (etc.) and now it does not in the file. However the screen before I go into that file has credit for the stars. I cannot not make any sense of it but it does not matter since I am already at 80 and cannot go any higher.

Kinda ironic for them to have a bug in this area...the one thing you'd thing they would get right since it relates to collecting figures (ie spending money, you know, their bottom line).

Seems "portal rank" is riddled with bugs.
I lost all my collection stars randomly one evening when I bought 2 new characters. My reward was losing most of my stars.
I was on the xbox 360 version and I've heard reports on the WiiU version too, so not system specific.

Considering the entire reward system is based on this one concept doesn't help, either. I'm a little insulted they would ship with very obvious and intrusive bugs...makes my complaints about the problems in SSA and SG unwarranted by comparison.

I wouldn't be saying word one if they had a patching solution/plan, but they've nixed that. Enjoy the crap, skyfans!

I think I'm not even going to start playing until I get all of the figures on my buy list, since it appears the introduction of a new character tends to be a trigger. The other thing I'll be doing is taking frequent "snapshots" of my save file before introducing a character and see if I can determine a place / location where you can do this without impacting your stars.
