I went to toys r us, target, and walmart and nothing. I asked at toys r us and the manager said that they have not heard anything about wave 3 yet.

From Toys for Bob of course. Where else?

It's not exactly a variant, it's more like a special Shroomboom, different color on toy figure but has the same color in the game.

Um.. No. Toys for Bob created Shroomboom, not VV. That could be a special one only given to TFB employees, or it even could be unique.

Wow maybe there's still hope for another day very soon, especially since the seller also has Phantom Cynder, Horn Blast Whirlwind and even regular Smolderdash. I can't say today, but maybe near the end of the month at best and here's to hoping we see them soon.

The problem with releasing all these variants for the older lines are they're going to have even *smaller* quantities than the current line. Because those lines aren't selling as strongly fewer shipments will come in, and those that do will sit in the back room. Meaning that most of the figures that make it into the wild will end up being sold by scalpers when we check the boxes.

Ha ha ha bring it on. Until we hold them in our hands all we have are theories and guesses. It is wishful thinking I totally admit that since I have no evidence and it's simply a theory. Some people just need to chill. This would be the first Boomcast where they featured a Skylander that wasn't released, to my knowledge anyway. Based on that I am convinced that wave 3 will be hitting soon. Bottom line is they hit when they hit. I checked TRU, Walmart and Target today and zip.

Also, is it known what retailers will likely be getting wave 3 first? I'm going to guess TRU and Gamestop.

So supposedly according to another thread on this forum, the 3ds version requires you to get all in-game varients for 100% completion. I don't know if this is true, but I was curious if anyone knows if we need all in-game varients for the console version in order to get 100% completion? If so.....bad bad Activision!! They know some countries never get all varients, so they'll just hurt all those who want 100%! Please please please be a lie!! *crosses fingers*

You DON'T need all of the variants to get 100%. All you need is all the stars and hats in the game to get full completion. Getting all of the In-game variants just get's your collection total full.
