I finally won one. This is still probably the single most frustrating, poorly executed promotion I've ever had the misfortune to enter and I'm glad to be done with it.

If I didn't like the figure, I probably would have skipped out altogether.

Went into Wally World an found some bags....to my suprise..*not*..the bags had the same code on them as the one i got from Krogers....2 weeks ago.
I hate this promo...im never going to find more codes so i can at least win just one...would like to shoot the idiot that thought up this promo in the face with Zook's BAZOOKA!!! ....thats if i could get Zook to let me borrow it.

I live in Indiana and have found none 39 stores not one bag but I got 41 codes from the last promo with the fright rider are you guys saying they are cross compatible between promotions?

Won one! This thing sucks though let's see if it really comes in the mail

No one ever said, or implied that.

Actually, it was implied that there might be codes on the outside of all Frito-Lay bags. Just look for the date on the bag and see if there is an 11 digit code next to it.

While there is a lot code on every bag, it's my guess that only the lot codes on the specially marked bags will work for the promo. Guess it wouldn't hurt to try some others (the one lot code from a Fright Rider bag I still had lying around did not work).

What kind of cards do you guys usually use? I've never done anything like this, before. Can I just use an index card? I know it might be cheaper to send a postcard (although I'm not sure of the size of them) than put an index card in an envelope, but I'd rather not have my information where anyone can see it. Plus, I figure the cost of a postcard will outweigh the difference of mailing a postcard vs. envelope. Do I have to send individual entries or could I send several cards in one envelope? I assume the former, but it would be nice if I could send them all at once.

I believe you need to place a 3-inch by 5-inch piece of plain unlined paper (blank index cards would probably work), showing your name/address/email/etc., inside a stamped envelope. You can only send one paper/card per envelope.

They had 5 bags with the GID Rattleshake promo at my local Kroger but none of them had codes on the outside of the bag.

Just got off the phone with customer service this morning. Had to be on hold for 20 minutes before I got a rep, but once I got someone on the line they were very friendly. They put my information in the system and said I should receive new codes via email in the next couple days. She did state that these codes would be unique and should not be duplicates that someone else already used. Everyone in the same situation should be able to do the same thing and then should be all good. Good luck to everyone!

From the six unique codes I got on bags at my local market this past Saturday night, these were my results yesterday:

Lost twice
Won twice
Two had already been used

Done with this promo!

The code on my bag was coming up "invalid code", so I called and finally got through. The rep took down my code and information, then gave me a new code over the phone. Just tried it and lost. She said if I get any invalid or code already used messages, to call in and they will replace the non-working codes. I only bought the one bag, as we have a number of chip bags from the Fright Rider promotion already. There is a limit to the madness. I did mail away for codes, so we shall see what that brings. The rep did mention that they were receiving lots of calls and the promotion has had a lot of problems. She was very nice though.
Unfortunately this promotion is not going like the Fright Rider one, there I bought 4 bags of chips and all were winners over the course of 4 days. Good luck to everyone that tries a code! I hope everyone here gets one.

I just won. This contest does suck but at least people won't be winning 40 of them to sell on ebay. I got my one and I'm done. That was way too much work I was up at 430am trying and so were others bc I didn't win til just now. Figured I had a better chance late at night.

I still haven't found any fright rider bags. Kinda gave up on that. s: A friend helped me get a few codes, 2 worked, neither won. Others were already used. When's a good time to use the code to win? Just trying to get one figure. After that, I'm done.

The codes are not all on a white sticker. They are at the bottom of bag next to sell bu date. Black...11 digits. I am talking about the glow rattle bags.

I still have not gotten the email with the codes they told me they would get me yesterday, I will give it till tomorrow and then try calling again

I haven't seen the Fright Rider or Rattle Shake bags. But I'm a bit broke, right now, anyway, so buying $6 bags of chips just for a chance to win is out of the question. But I guess I can send a few cards to them.

Did you get a confirmation email after you won, or not? I haven't gotten one, and I just wanted to make sure there were no problems, given how bad the roll out on this promotion has been.

This means the game is officially a free-for-all with any code. The code posted earlier in this thread works and doesn't says it's been used anymore. Reusable codes = decreased chance of winning for all. It's a much more scammable game using alternate email addresses until you win. All the complaints resulted in this happening. I'm glad I won my one yesterday. It also means that there's no sense in mailing away for codes anymore.

I won twice and received no email confirming my win. The fright rider promo didn't send an email confirming either but I called to check on it and they said both fright riders were in the system. I wouldn't worry, I'm sure the win is registered, if you're still a little uneasy about it then I would call and ask if it's in the system.

Sad that the game is now a free for all. As someone else said, why not make it a UPC thing like the sidekicks?

What are the odds they look at someone who won 4 times on the same code or the fact if someone tries the same code 15 times?

Will they just assume that person is a scammer and let us legit people win our 1 figure?

Either way, how disappointing

I didn't get any kind of confirmation email, and have been contemplating calling the hotline to ensure the win was processed....paranoia maybe but with no confirmation and so many issues with this promo I'd hate to wait till its over and realize somehow I didn't win!

No confirmation email...somebody mentioned during the Fright Rider promo that they only got an email when they got a winning prompt and did NOT enter their information on the following screen.

i called them too and they told me the issue was resolved. and to try my codes again. didnt win.

this means that people with 100 email addresses are gonna have 100 chances to enter per day right?

No point in holding off now, but I still think it will get a little easier to win once the initial rush is over. While I'm sure there are some people trying to scam the system, you have to imagine there are others who will win their 1 figure and stop entering.

So I re-tried the code I won with yesterday, and it said "Sorry you didn't win this time"....shouldn't it have given the code already used error!? I'm guessing Frito Lay reset all the codes, otherwise it woulda said used.

same with me, just called and got a operator. Said they fixed the issue, tried it with the one code I had and was able to enter....didn't win

If what I'm reading above is correct, it looks like they took away the 1 use code rule since so many people are all sitting on the same exact code. As much as people may not like it, and it does give way to those who want to cheat the system now, it seems like the only fair thing to do. Sure, there will be scalpers waiting with 100 emails trying to get as many figures as they can, so the contest is still flawed. But now it's not quite as impossible for the rest of us to get one who were sitting on a sea of used codes. Needless to say, I'm still hoping for a retail release of this figure if for not other reason than how poorly executed this contest was.

You can now enter as many times as you have email addresses (and no this is not cheating the guy I talked to on the phone even suggested I do that if I really want to win) "now that we have it fixed you can use the same code every day and you know you can enter as many times a day as you have email addresses" was what he said to me.

PS. I won the fright rider... as they emailed me the wrong code as a replacement code... And it won a fright rider LOL

Wins are based on an entry at a given computer-generated winning time within each 15 minute instant win period. They are not attached to a code...the code just allows for an entry.
