codes can be reused now. i won twice using the same code

I just tried 1NP22800517 says it's been used. So what exactly is going on now!? Every bag had the same code, all those bags are invalid now?

This is a pointless thread. There's going to be a lot of ranting and raving about the codes and nothing will get accomplished until Monday when Frito Lay gets tons of complaints and will have to allow for codes to be reused. If you guys want to complain, then by all means, let this thread be your support group.

I bought a bag. Code used already.

Tried a few random codes, got "You must use a valid code" back.

Started incrementing from my code. Many taken but eventually found one unused. Didn't win though

Just a shoutout: call the 1800 number. They'll help in the case of bad codes.

All you're doing by cheating is a) preventing someone else from using a valid code and b) increasing the chances the results of the contest could be thrown out entirely.

Now that I see the end results; I agree, don't do it. I feel bad now.

Yeah, I really think using random codes is not cool, because that just pushes the problem off to someone else who doesn't deserve it any more than you did. I say call them up and go through the proper channels, get a legit and unique code that isn't going to screw over anyone else. Besides, there's no need to be so frantic about getting a figure in the first day. There are almost two full months of chances ahead of us.

What's the 1-800 that you used ....number I used says office closed?

The problem isn't winning today its that I have 6 bags with the same code. I can't use that code tomorrow so are they going to give me 6 new codes?

Yes people can amd will get thw figure. Just let the problems get worked out ninja. Or you could take the code from the bag you have and call customer service and tell them it doesn't work

Yeah...very few ...think its only 3 to 4 on here...and one that won an got a sorry error screen after the "your a winner" screen.

Why couldn't they do it just like the second sidekicks promotion? That was easy.

the fact the codes don't work is the most frustrating thing ever as they are all used. Exactly what were they thinking was going to happen if you don't put the codes inside the bag and just mass produce them? If that was the case everyone could have just used the same code if the limitation was lifted. Seems whoever put the codes on forgot to do one code per bag instead of a whole shipment of the same.

When everyone else uses the few working codes out there, there will be many more heartbroken people out there that have the same code.
Some bags probably won't even have that code.

I was just screwing around with the numbers. It wasn't intentional. The codes are horribly printed on the bags. You can't even tell a 5 from an 8.

Yes. I just told them how many bags of chips I bought and they they emailed me that many new codes right there on the spot.

didnt want to attach this to the other thread because that turned into a complaint thread. This was meant to be a place were people can go into walmart with there smart phones, or write them down, and know what bags not to buy. I should have known we'd end up with two complaint threads.
