Anyways, there is something I've been curious about.

How come they never patch the Skylanders series? They could have 'added' some of the variants 'after the fact'...for how much figures cost, it really does feel like a kick in the gut that chase variants never translate to anything in game...it defeats the whole 'playable toy' motif they have going on.

Heh, I see that MAD-Project got their Star Strike artwork posted.

At least they didn't show their deviantART account, because they have quite a few pieces that aren't appropriate for kids..

Looks like they got phantom cynder ready to go! Look in the background in ep5 of the boomcast. To make it easier, pause at 0:32 and look around.

There is also a normal Smolderdash. We know the contents of wave 3 and we know that the packs are already made, I mean, do you know how long it takes to produce and ship these from china? How do we know if w3 comes out in 2 weeks or 4 weeks or eben 6 weeks? We don't even know when this episode was recorded.

Where was regular Smolderdash confirmed for Wave 3? I thought the regular releases were only Dune Bug and some reposes.

Well what some people may have missed is that Smolderdash was also shown on the amazon website like all the others and for some reason forgot she was included. So bottom line Smolderdash's regular figure should be in wave 3 with Dune Bug.

It's Sleepy, we're lucky it wasn't worse.

As far as no patching, that actually makes sense: not everyone has internet, so trying to sell a toy so that it appears as unique in the game after the game has been released would lead to problems and upset parents. It's easier to just label them 'special' and call it a day.

Sadly planning the variants from the getgo and including them all in the initial game's release would fix that but what do I know?
