New Skylanders arriving opened/ unsealed [CLOSED]

I've been buying a number of new skylanders items online lately and have been noticing a disturbing trend. About half of the figures I've purchased and arrived have popped open where the bubble (and figure) come detached from the card. I assume I can't be this unlucky so it must be a larger issue. Generally I notice it most with the Giants era figures the most.

How can I avoid figures arriving opened/ unsealed? I'm trying to put together a collection of new in box figures and am getting rather frustrated.

Thanks!

I guess it would depend on where you're purchasing them from. If from Amazon, there are a lot of marketplace sellers there so they might be used items. If it's from Walmart/TRU/Target, I would complain that they came opened and demand replacements.

I noticed a few in store like this, I would imagine it has something to do with the adhesive they use. Apparently cold makes it lose stickiness, many custom people use the freezer to remove the bubble without damage. Given that stores had these in the warehouses for a while it might be somewhat temperature related.

Had at least one or two in Giants like that too. You can tell if it was this or used because if it was opened the paper backing will typically be ripped as well.

Mostly from ebay, ones that appear to have been sealed but the glue holding the bubble just gives out. Negligence may be part of it but it seems the glue is rather weak.

Had a couple figures come in from toys r us today and one popped open.

When I was browsing Best Buy a couple days ago over half of their giants figures had popped open and appeared to be stapled shut / cellophane wrapped depending.

The glue isnt that great, plus if your buying them online and shipping they are being exposed to bumps, drops, moisture etc. Theres really no reason for people to be opening the packages seeing how you can scan through them.

Ive seen this a lot in the stores with the giants figures. My swappers are a lot harder to open. I bought a glow in the dark sonic boom to open back in the summer (already had one sealed) and it popped open before i got it home.

Giants figures are notorious for popping open. The glue they use is very weak, and the cardboard is VERY thin.

It IS difficult to contain a Giant, after all! They want to burst through the packaging and play instantly!

We were at our local TRU yesterday (where legendary Zoo Lou was already on hooks) and so many of the swap force figures were popping of the backs. Several 3 packs and individuals
