I give up trying to find these bags.

I have a feeling that this is packaged in SWAP Force packaging. It has unique art, and it's most definitely Blue Based. I bet he shows up like that in the game.

Someone posted that they found data for a "Legendary" Fright Rider. The black-ish color of Fright suggests that this is indeed Legendary, though the orange Rider suggests otherwise.

Wow...it seems the odds of winning have drastically slipped on this game lately! I'm glad I called and asked for my codes early on (still no email from them). Though to put things into perspective, this is still one of the easiest wins out there compared to other online instant-win contests. For those of you complaining about not seeing the Fright Rider bags, I'd suggest mailing for your free entries now...invest 10 stamps ($4.60) and index cards (1 cent or less each)...much better than the alternative of shelling out big bucks on Ebay once these start shipping out or completely missing out on having the figure.

Yes, yes I do actually. Probably not soon, maybe even not until next Halloween - but I think they would. A figure being old doesn't seem to prevent them from making a big deal at TRU for having Dinorang. And Flocked Stump Smash wasn't listed as an "Exclusive until XXX date". Maybe they won't, but they put in that text obviously to leave their options open.

And just an FYI, I did end up buying a bag of chips (when I saw the text I mentioned). We use them for the kids and I take some to work for snacks, and $6.99 is actually the same price my grocery store charges for a bag on sale. I figured what the heck I was at TRU anyways, if I lose I'll still end up with the chips at the same price we normally pay anyways. I definitely wasn't getting more than one, because it took a while to go through the Giantkicks bags - and those were a guaranteed win.

Well, don't let it get you down if you didn't win, because the one code I got was a "winner" this morning - so they haven't run out yet. I'm not sure how their program works, but given they have a time limit set per winner (once per 15 minutes), maybe hold off and enter your code at an unusual time (middle of the night/etc.), and if you have more than one don't enter them one after another (or on the same day as another winner of yours). They might queue up "winners" if people haven't entered a code recently. The "losers" might be because they had a bunch of people entering codes around the same time since it appears TRU has picked up the slack on the previously hard to find bags.

^actually they only found that the game oddly checks if FR is Legendary. But there was NO data for him at all. So if he was suppose to work as some sort of In-Game variant, hes going to be put in the same category as the Platinum Treasure: Screwed
because he is not going to look like that In-Game.

Are you having to watch your spam box for these codes? Or are they just popping up in your regular email> I sent a bunch away about 2 weeks after I saw the info on here and haven't gotten them yet. I know it says its a 6-8 week turnaround to get them but I'm just getting antsy I suppose.

I bought three bags for my sister to use trying to get my nephew one of these figures, under the strict rules that if he won a character and there were any left over, we would not be greedy and instead would give the others to someone who might need them for their child. Fortunately, he did actually win a Fright Rider, but sadly it was only after they entered the third code. He was going to be very upset since I had won a character and he hadn't ever found the bags. I prepared him ahead of time that, even with three bags, he could still lose on all three tries. Glad he got one just like I did!

hopefully he didn't enter all 3 on the same day... their official rules say only 1 play per day. They may discredit the second and third entry, but given that they don't really ask for your personal information until after you win I don't know how they would even track that, let alone enforce it.

As has been stated on here many times previously, you should call the support number for the contest and have them look up your entries. I was in the same boat, so i called and while i was on the phone the person i talked to sent me my codes.

Honestly, I have no idea why people have waited as long as they have to send in for codes and/or call in to get their codes. Lesson learned for the upcoming GITD Rattle Shake for sure. I sent my post cards out a few days ago and I will be jumping on the website as soon as it is up in hopes of winning. The early bird catches the worm my good people!

I was under the impression that this contest was like the Rattle Shake promotion with batches of same codes on store shelves.

No...the pumpkin fright rider promo had codes on inside of bags and you could enter one code a day to see if you won.

managed to find bags at toyrus of all places, so picked up 3, entered in a code right away and nada, tried a code the next morning and won, have one left to try

So far, of my Fright Rider codes, 3 won, 2 lost and I have one more to try!! I was hoping for 2 of them and got pleasantly surprised with a third!! Do we know for sure yet if these are Giants figures or Swap Force??

Same for me. I had 10 requests in, and the CS dude sent all 10 at once in a single email.

8 tries. 6 wins. 25% failure rate for me.

I think people like me are pretty much SOL when it comes to finding any bags or getting codes. Probably way late in the game.

Come on man. You got over two weeks. Send in 10 postcards and call the phone# in 5 days or so. Get your codes and you have a bunch of chances in getting one. As my Father would always say: "Crap or get off the pot".

Www.fritolayholiday.com is not working. ..at least it wasnt when I checked. That is the site on bag. I just found a bunch at publix in Bradenton. No codes on the bags. He took them from back out of packing box. I called the number from fright rider promo. They said that they did not know anything but the rules...which are the same as what I reading on bag. She said that sending in for free codes before the contest begins is a waste bevause the PO Box is only open during contest time frame.
I bought bags because I want the figure--don't know what will happen with specifics of this contest and I want to make sure I have what is needed. I believe that we won't know anything for sure until the contest begins and we can talk to a trained rep. The only things known for sure are what is printed on bag, ambiguous rules, how to get free codes.

i was responding to your comment about the new GITD rattle shake promotion... not the fright rider one... may be a derailment of the thread, but i didn't cause it to jump tracks, i just hopped on.

How long ago did you send in with the 3x5 cards?
It takes about 4 weeks to get in their system.
If it is in the system they should be able to email you the code while your on the phone.
That's what I did. Once I verified that I got the email, we hung up. I kept stalling ( asking questions about the Rattle Shake) until I got the email.

Just remember (If you get more than one code) not to use them in the same day. They are tracking that info. Unless of course you are using different addresses.

I wouldn't wait any longer. The official rules say they need to be received no later than November 12th.

Only guessing it is probably too late to mail in for codes , rules say all requests for free codes must be received by Nov 12th but if you call the hotline it states all mail ins for free codes must be received by oct 30th, game ends Nov 16th. You certainly could try though and keep calling after you mail them and see if they say your in the system or not. I guess it is worth a shot.

That is going to stink if that is the case. No where on the packaging did it say you had to wait to mail in your free code requests. If bags are being sold at stores and an address is listed to write to for a free code that address should be valid at that time. People in general don't want to wait around until after a contest starts to initiate the free code application process. I am calling this people tomorrow to give them the what for.

To be fair, the rules clearly state that the game doesn't begin until 11/3/2013.

You can't show up three days early to the basketball court, shoot 300 baskets and claim you're in the lead.

True, but if no purchase is necessary to participate and win, and the bags are being sold in stores prior to the promotion date then why should the people who send in cards for free codes be but in a disadvantage? All I am saying is that if this is the case, if the PO Box isn't open until the 3rd (which by the way is a Sunday) then I would have appreciated knowing this ahead of time. I would have no issue in holding off sending my cards until then.
