Did a search on the forums but it didn't find a recent match for "Wave 3" so forgive if this is answered somewhere else.

Does anyone know what characters are "rumored" to be in Wave 3 and "when" its supposed to launch. I believe I read somewhere in the forums about a 11/15/13 date.

Again, sorry if this has been asked/answered before.

unforchantly im tapped out...can't afford any new Swap Force figures right now....have to wait till Black Friday....get 3 paychecks this month instead the normal 2.....so i have to wait.

Boy your color blind...that is classafied as iridescent gold. Like i said before, Iridescent paint is a cameleon type paint that uses 2 to 3 different metallic paints. Yes there is green in it...half metallic gold paint half metallic green paint..but in this case the used more gold then green...because the metallic in the green is gold not silver. Just like Hot Dog...hes called Bronze because theres more gold in the paint then copper....witch made him a golden color not a redish color. Im a painter i know paint.

Either way, I'm probably gonna end up getting it. I need a Wii U, and I needed normal versions of Blast Zone and Ninja Stealth Elf.

I need the normal versions also...but i can't afford the $300 bucks right now...maybe next year i can get a Wii U....and i want the Black version anyway... (my Wii is black)
Was planing on getting the Wii U Starter Pack on Black Friday...should beable to get one for a good price....i hope.

"November 15 is around the time when Skylanders Swap Force wave 3 is expected" is hardly a confirmation. That is more like a "kinda, sorta, maybe". Also, I've seen the lists of figures and I'd have to say it would surprise me if they blew the Adventure AND the Battle pack this quickly. I personally think a whole lot of websites are leaning on each other for confirmations.

It's definitely no confirmation, it's the writer's guess. But if we follow your logic, why do they release a battle and adventure pack on the same day where you get a whole game full of levels and arenas? Doesn't make to much sense either.

People take this guess from HDroom and the amazon.fr date as a fact. Don't know why, but when I first posted the amazon.fr links I said "possible wave 3". And of course, the date is not carved in stone either. It could be just a simple mistake or an old date or whatever.

What I guess is, that Activision reacts and see what date may fit best.

Also Nov 15th is the US launch of the PlayStation 4. Though Swap Force is a launch title and it would seem like a good idea to have more characters for purchase, I don't believe Activision wants to put the brand between the PS4 and XBone launches. I think we might see something closer to Nov 26th when Disney Infinity puts out Frozen Toy Box Set and the Second Wave of the Power Discs. Also the wave might launch after Black Friday. We'll see but I would prefer prior to Black Friday than later to get my 2013 hunting out of the way so I can concentrate on the new consoles.

Because on Day 1 they want a hearty selection and variety available to get people in stores. People will stock up on the first day. With the two extra packs they have two "major" purchases, both with a new figure so it would make sense to spread them out. We have to remember that we are not the average consumer of Skylanders, we are but a small slice of the general fanbase. Asking the average parent to drop $50+ on a day other than the initial release isn't really all that wise. Most of them bought their fill for Christmas and might only buy a few more or nothing else until the holiday.

And the "average" Skylanders player doesn't play the game for a year. He loses interest in it after a few months. So releasing the new levels and arenas early could be clever.

Wrong, the "average" player hasn't even played it yet. Being that it came out mid October, most kids won't even play it until Christmas. I know I am not in the habit of giving my kids $100+ gifts in the couple months leading up to Christmas, nor are any of the other parents I know. In fact, I only know of one kid in our neighborhood that has it already, but that is a bit of a special situation.

Also, kids play it far longer than you think. Parents usually don't spring for new games every month, I know when I was young I'd get MONTHs out of a new Atari game. My son still plays Giants and SSA regularly. The trick is to not let them overdose on it, my sons only play on weekends when school is in, and even then they don't sit and glaze over in front of the TV all day.

I am in this boat. I have purchased everything there is to get at the moment and have it all stored away till xmas for my kids. They still get get plenty of miles out of the previous two titles.

Yeah, I have all of it minus the 3DS pack which for which I am waiting on a sale. It's all packed up. It was a little frustrating that his one friend got it early and wanted my son to come over to play it, but fortunately my son has no intentions on spoiling Swap Force, it's OUR game. A game he plays first with Daddy. And that is part of the reason I like this game so much.

I believe most of the info has been determined from retailer listings and assuming they accurate. The November 15th date has been bounced around because a few retailers in some regions list that date, and list figures available. It isn't unusual for them to know what is coming out, but it would be unusual for them to know weeks ahead when they will receive it - given history. Some blogs and other sites then repeat it and it becomes "confirmed", even though no official word. I think hope is overriding skepticism here. It would be unusual given previous years for Wave 3 to be out that soon, but they haven't been entirely consistent in that regard either.

The only real "new stuff" dates I personally believe to be accurate are the Legendary dates in the TRU big book. They have an exclusive deal on those and this has been planned for quite some time, that Big Book was probably designed months ago. I'm sure they have some contracted delivery on the dates for those.

Of course, I could be wrong. If there is a new wave coming out it will likely be known shortly before it hits, probably a TRU Hot Toy Alert. Right now Wave 2 isn't even in really high circulation yet, and you figure they will go through that before shipping Wave 3.

Every page I've read about Wave 3 coming out on November 15, seems to stem directly from an estimated release date shown on Amazon France. That date has now changed to November 30.

Does anyone have hard evidence of a release date to refute it?

I am updating my spreadsheet to make it clear which ones are available (as opposed to merely having a X for "don't have it", have a "-" when not available yet).

As I live in a 3rd world country (Australia) our waves are not in sync with the all-mighty world power(s).

I just went to TRU yesterday in the event that any Wave 3 showed up w/ L-Zoo Lou, but L-ZL was the only thing new on the shelf. Not even a Wave 2 restock.
