Enchanted hoot loop paint [CLOSED]

I remember reading when enchanted hoot loop first came out that the paint on his figure changed colour in certain light. I just bought him for my son and i'm not exactly sure what changes =S

Anyone know?

I don't have him but I'm pretty sure the wings become blue in sunlight.

Yep, wings/arms. They change in the game too.

It changes color in sunlight. It takes a few minutes to turn a dark blue, but it quickly disappears when you take it inside.

In sunlight? Ah crap. Means I won't get to see it change. Living in England sucks. Nothing but cloud and rain here till we get our 1 day of summer next year.

Just try and put him outside. It was really cloudy here in NJ, and he still changed colors.

Ohhhhh. That kind of color change. I thought it was in-game change so I was like "they lie!" But ok. A solar thing. Kinda like Solar Gak... anyone remembers that stuff?

Haha yeah we've had ours since day one and have not seen any change in the figure. The game however we have.

It's awesome. We have taken it out and it changes really quick too. But it changes back real quick too.

ok, I kept my Enchanted in its package. And I can NOT get him to change color at all. did I get a defected one? or is it cause of the package blocking the sun? I dont mind opening the package, but once I do I cant return him if he still dosnt change color.

The only parts that change are the arm feathers, you might not be able to see it too well in the packaging.

Yeah it kinda sucks. Lol. Not that I regret getting the little guy. I had no idea he "changed" colors. They could've done better with the changing. Im not sure how it changes but I remember when I was little, especially in the late 80s and90s, they made toys that change color with hot and cold water. Those kept their colors longer. Not saying you should dip that into water at all but I think it would've been more effective.
