I just completed the game and i want to level up all 112 of my skylanders to lvl 20. In the past 2 games. There is always a stage in each game which makes it easy to level up. In SSA, it usually takes 2 to 3 runs of the Lair of Kaos stage to max out to lvl 10. In giants, 3 runs of Lost city of arkus can level up a skylander from 0 to 15. Is there a similar stratagy because leveling up a skylander from 15 to 20 takes forever. It took 3 stages before my Legendary Stealth elf to jump to lvl 16. Is there a way to make level grinding a breeze in this game?

In Giants, I did the boss battle and got 10 skylanders to lvl 15

Thats nice, i use my stratagy more but anyway you find works.

I don't have swap force but in giants I go to a chompie spawner or a spider spawner in the oracle and do that until I'm lvl 15 u might want to find spawners then

Kaos fortress was tough but not nearly as many enemies as the past 2 fortress. For xp not sure but money just do multiple bonus missions they rake in over 1000 if you do it right

I found a better money exploit than the bonus mission. I really want to find a way to max out xp. I am actually using all xp boost legendary treasure and takes forever. Nobodys level 20.

The best way to get Gold; Use the Sky Diamond Magic Item, get a Skylander with fast attacks, and wail on the Training Dummies in Woodburrow.

Use 2 players to split the Gold between two different characters.

Doing PVP ring out against a high level character gives decent exp and the battles are quick (because you just jump the opponent in the pit) but still takes like up to 10 wins to gain one level and is boring.

Doing the survival challenges gives decent exp, especially the first three ice ship stages.

Ok ill try it out. Is that the any known quick level up stratagy

Don't know if it's every Sunday, but yesterday was double xp. Just waiting for that buff might be the best way.....?

PvP seems to yield lots of XP, and you hardly think about it.

Yeah, im just used to other cheats. Trust me back in the SSA days. I did battle mode all day to max them out. But once i discovered the infinitley faster Lair of Kaos exploit. I never turn back. Gonna have to turn back for this game though. Just have to get used to it.

Well there are no heroics to do so taking a little longer to level them up is not a big deal to me. Besides that all it gives is more health, which isn't a big deal either.

Hard difficulty on any level

I tried the ring out stratagy and its not working, maybe if i adjust the difficulty to nightmare and do the ring out stratagy it works. Also, do adding more blue base characters to finish collection accolades still award xp bonuses like in previous games or is it must for PM rank?

Arenas make it go pretty quick.

Recommended arena?

Just go in order. If I have a level 1 Skylander I start with the pokey pokey spikes and work my way up. I do go to Wood Borrow first and get the 3 chests so I can get about 3 upgrades before I go.

Ditto. I've been using arenas on hard for fresh level 1's. They get up to level 8-9 doing 3 arenas. One level 1-5, two level 6-10 (without bosses are easier). Haven't grinded to level 20 so not sure how easier it is to continue using arenas.

The system is the opposite of Giants. In Giants playing on Easy gave more XP. For Swap Force it is possibly Nightmare Mode. Hard itself gives a ton of XP just doing the story mode as is.

Now THAT'S the way it should be.

The 3DS version. In the time I kept playing battle mode to level just once, I could have played through one of the 5-minute chapters on the 3DS version and gained about two levels.

Playing the last boss on Nightmare barely budged my Warnado's XP bar. Playing the first level on the 3DS game got him from the start of Level 19 to 1/3 through it.

I don't recommend the game much, but if you have a ton of Skylanders, it's the best way to level. Otherwise, it just becomes a grind. It's still repetitive on the 3DS version, but much less so.

I'm not suggesting to get a 3DS if you don't have one just for Skylanders, but it's a great console anyway with some great games. And if you have one, and a lot of Skylanders, the 3DS version isn't a bad option for getting them max experience.

By the way, you still get the Quest for reaching Level 20 with all upgrades It's awarded when you boot the refreshed Skylander into the console game.

Yeah, it is a lot of the reason as to why I played a lot of Giants on Easy over Nightmare Mode. I did do it for the Knight Helmet but besides that Easy is more fun because it had more XP. I prefer Hard Mode so far on Swap Force besides the initial run of Easy to enjoy the story aspects of the levels.

Is the daily "sign bonus" the same every week?

Because last Sunday it was Double XP on the PS3 (on a day when I could barely play at all, of course). If it's like that EVERY Sunday, it seems like a waste of effort to try and power-level on any other day.

So far every Sunday has been the same. I don't know if this is even really linked to online. I tried making a topic about it before but it was ignored.
