From what I gather, this is mainly a Kroger (and affiliates) thing. The nearest Kroger to me is about 80 miles away, in Connecticut.

Pretty sure the best bet for most people is going to be sending in those 3 x 5 cards.

Exactly I have found zilch chip bags besides giantkicks and giving away a few codes doesn't benefit the OP besides getting a good smile knowing he/she did a generous thing.

I have not seen or found the Glow Rattle Shake bags of chips OR the Pumpkin Fright Rider bags of chips ANYWHERE in Charlotte, NC.

No sign of either promotion here, at all.

I haven't found one yet. I never even found the Sidekicks bags. The problem is that in the US, one of the major retailers that gets the bags is Walmart but here in NYC, Walmart are nowhere to be found, which is very odd because it is NYC afterall... Sigh. smilie

I kind of skimmed through the other thread on fright rider and didn't see anything, but I may have missed it... Is there a certain time of day that is better for entering codes? It says there's a winner every 15 minutes... So would like 4 am be better than 4 pm? Just curious so I don't waste my attempts. smilie

Yeah that was my exact thinking. Like, yeah, of course do it when you're one of very few doing it, but then you think everybody has that same idea and nobody is doing it in the middle of the day because they think there's no chance. Idk. So I was curious to hear from people that had won or not won and get their take.

You will NOT believe where I found fright rider bags! Toys R Us. I kid you not. I went there just to get cards and found then in the swap force display area. I'm not saying that is everywhere but add that to places to look. Even the cashier was surprised.

Can you elaborate on that? (PM is fine, as not to derail the thread) Why would Targets and Kmarts be allowed, but not Walmarts? I'm not doubting what you're saying, but would just like to know the details.

By NYC I mean the entire city. All five boroughs. Barely any K-Marts either, if any. I'm in Queens.

Check in Penn Station, when I went up there for my honeymoon they had a very nice selection in their store. Toys R Us would be a small walk away from there so that might give you two shots with one stone.

If anyone's giving away the codes, my inbox is open. Frito Lay hasn't gotten the cards I sent in from the call I did earlier today so it's that or eBay when the dust settles.

Just google nyc and walmart. NYC has not allowed walmart to move in, yet. Did you try kmart in penn, maybe they have them?

So I'm in Walmart in Northern NJ, and as I turn the corner from the chip aisle, i see a slew of cardboard boxes sitting on an endcap. From the side, I see the various Skylanders logos, so I'm thinking I'm about to hit the jackpot, and I didn't care if they were the Fright Rider or Rattle Shake bags, but I finally get there, and they are neither! They are just WM specific multi-pack bags offering $10 off of Swap Force, and a $5 WM gift card for buying the starter pack.

I've been searching every walmart, target and HEB in the Austin area for the past month and still nothing. I have seen the new swap force coupon bags but no fright rider bags. Been searching most days. I'm guessing they are not distributing them down here. If anyone has an extra code, my 7 year old would be thrilled.

pretty sure she meant the bags with fright rider as some ppl have been saying they saw them in toysrus. Maybe tomorrow before work i'll hit a tosyrus. worked 14hrs today. At least that helps pay for wave 1 and 2.

Just found about 8 Fright Rider boxes of chips at my TRU near the check out aisle. Frito sure waited long enough to distribute them to some areas. There is only a couple more weeks that this promotion is valid.
