Will the wii dark edition game and portal work with wii u? Gamestop is sold out of the wii u edition and I am getting my son one for xmas. He lredy has a regular wii. Thankd

I would suggest just getting the regular wii u version since it has much better graphics, I also hear the wii version of the game is very buggy.

I would just get the regular version but he is 6 and has his heart set on the dark edition.

Depends.... I have a wii, its not realy buggy, just a little different, but still great

Considering you have a Wii U, you should really try to find a Wii U edition, maybe in a different store or online?

In the leaked Gamestop ads for Black Friday it mentioned Dark Editions. So, I'm assuming there will be more shipments before then. You'll just have to wait.

I would call around to some stores and even ask one of the guys at the store (in person) if he can locate a store with the dark edition for the wii u.

The wii copy is laggy, buggy and graphics are lower. My 7yr old notices the difference as his grandmother got the wii copy for him to play at her house, since I got him the dark edition for the wii-u. He noticed right away that the game looks different which surprised me.


If after calling around you still cant get him it, i guess buy the dark wii one and hold onto as long as you can, maybe they will have more for black friday, who knows.
