Have the Swapper's Magnets caused any problems? [CLOSED]

I love all of my new Swap Force figures, but they've been making me very nervous ever since I brought them home...

Let me explain. I work in IT and I know for a fact just how much damage a strong magnet can do to a computer. So when I first heard that the Swappers were connected with magnets, I was surprised. I'm sure that all of these toys have been tested to make sure that the magnets are safe, but has anyone had any incidents with a Swap magnet bumping against another Skylander and messing with the RFID chip or anything like that?
I've been so paranoid of something like this happening that I keep all of my Swappers on a totally different shelf from my other characters...

Magnets don't damage RFID. Pretty much, they only really have an effect on magnetic media and old CRT monitors.

I've been waiting for them to pop out, some little kid to swallow them, then all the SWAP Force figures to get recalled.

Then, I'll have my Skylanders fortune! smilie

Well, I'm glad to hear someone's actually tested it. I haven't been brave enough to forsake any of my figures just for the sake of the hypothesis.
It makes me feel a lot better that they all seem to be safe. I would imagine they would be, I can't imagine them being widely released if they had the ability to destroy their non-swapping counterparts.

That's my worry too. I remember some years back with a toy called bakugan where they had magnets on the bottom. The magnets where exposed, yet after a few months of the line's release, all figures had the magnet covered by a thin layer of plastic that was part of the figure's base preventing the magnet from coming out.

I worry very much of the magnets coming out for the Swap Force figures.

magnets dont effect rfid chips at all.

skylanders have an age limit ON the package. so they wouldnt be recalled for a little kid swallowing them. if your kid can threw through the plastic and get to magnets to swallow them, you have a bigger problem, your kid is actually a dog.

It's nice to see people have tested this out. I haven't had any worries so far. I don't think they would release the game if there was any chance of that happening to customers because they would then be way in over their heads.

Doesn't matter if there's an age "limit" on the package. Look up "Bucky Balls". A product specifically designed as a desk toy for adults. Didn't stop the feds from suing the company into oblivion.
