So I did get the seasonal job @ TRU again this year. My boss wanted me to work today specifically for the release. So the doors open, 3 ladies come in and procede to fill shopping carts with the figures. They don't have questions but then call their husbands to come in. I see 3 guys come in to the store in cool custom swap force jackets and shirts. It doesn't take long to find out that these are the developers from Vicarous Visions. This was the start of many. VV employees coming in and getting figures. It felt a little good to see that even though they made the game they still had to trot out to the store and pay regular price, bogo 40%, for the figures.

That would have made the day worth it in working for me in seeing those there that had the jackets. Sometimes when you work certain jobs it's the little things like that are the best

Taking that last ride through the sunset on skylanders. Hopefully a return of more classic spyro gameplay in the horizon.

And then, people will still complain when there's an exclusive employee edition toy, even though they have to pay for everything.

Thanks for sharing the story. I doubt anything like this will happen over here on launch day. It's getting pretty hard to avoid spoilers too! Only a few more days to go.
