Work was really a killer today, but I got through it, again. God I'm tired, can I come home, PLEASE?

You've been on my mind all day. Today would have been your birthday. Mom, there's no cake, no balloons, no flowers, no laughing and no hugs. smilie Just memories of you. smilie I would give my own life just to be with you again. I miss you so much. Funny little event from last night:

I was at a college hockey game and the home team had its pep band. The referees (always hated in every sport) were the first ones on the ice. For the first two periods, the band introduced them with The Imperial March from Star Wars. Pretty funny. Then in the third period, after the refs had botched a few calls that should have gone the home team's way, the band introduces them with the Looney Tunes theme. I laughed harder than I should have. ^.^;

As this was happening:
I was playing Skylanders, choosing another character to put on the portal. My mom was in the basement doing laundry.

This is what happened:

I don't fully get it either, but they tried to explain it in an episode of Hot in Clevland. DON'T JUDGE ME!!!!

Apparently it's like having a best friend, but it's a guy instead of a girl... They're supposed to have great fashion sense, be a fake date to friend's events when needed, and something about picking up dudes with her.

Frankly, it's rather stereotypical of the gay male.
