I'm not I was just Curious how man of you are? I figure most parents wont let their kids stay up that late and others have to get up early for church. I don't think I'll have a hard time getting anything in the morning. My local TRU said they had plenty to last them a few weeks and werent expecting hardly anyone at midnight

I am. Gonna snag as much as possible. In fact, I'm heading over to ToysRUs in a 1/2 hour. Gonna sit and wait.

I can't my TRU dosen't open till 8:00AM *grumbles*...sorry Zelda flashback :-) And from what i have found out about my Walmart they don't have EHL....and also there not stocking Swap Force till to morning ...blasted flaterat..

I am going to TRU at midnight. Possibly Walmart after, but I preordered Enchanted Hoot Loop so I may skip that. Then Target at 8am and GameStop at 9. Hopefully getting everything available.

I know I should know this....but....reg. coupons for tru... is there anything I need to bring with me? I plan to bring my 10 off frito coupon. ..the bogo 40% is built in....I thought there was a 20% for something. ...ugh! I.know there is also the mailed 10% for rewards members and a metallic green gill.

You can print the 20% coupon off TRU website that can be used with $10 off on starter pack to bring it down to $50 before tax.

Does anyone know if you can just show the ad on your cell phone to the cashier at Toys R Us for the 20% off coupon? My printer isn't working and I would like to take advantage of the coupon to buy the 3ds version.

Heading to my local TrU about 9:30 to line up. Have several things ordered online but hoping to get all the remaining Wave 1 figures there tonight and tomorrow at Target.

Midnight launches are fun.

I am staying home tonight but curious to hear how everyone makes out.

Called my local Walmart a few min's ago...they said there arn't putting anything out till the morning....everything is in a big bin..or whatever he said...you can get stuff at midnight but you wil have to dig for them...i thought "gee won't that be....fun. ..not. Im sure we won't have axcess to that bin..as he put it...im sure its in back. And they will go get what you want...but well see.

Not sure if i should even go or not....all i want there right now is EHL.

Pre-order and only Walmart open around here. Hitting TRU early. Just realized I do live in an area where Church/Sunday morning may not get kids/parents out early. LOL.

Wow, that was way easier than I thought. Got everything I could except the Walmart exclusives (and the Target exclusive). I can wait on Star Strike. I have the LC for now to fill the void. I was the only person at Walmart, and only a handful of folks at TRU when I got there.

I am in Buffalo, NY. Specifically the Walmart & TRU in Amherst.

TRU had an impressive stock and were completely prepared. Nobody walked out without everything they wanted, and everything was buy one, get one 40% off. They also had legendary Free Ranger and Grim Creeper.

Posted in other thread but you can now order Nitro Magna Charge online. I should go to bed. At least I got the boys in bed. LOL In some ways I'm more excited than they are.

TRU near me was fantastic; they had two giant displays, one in the front of the store, one in the back, both stocked with everything from SwapForce, and a good amount of older stuff. I even found a Voodood that I'd been looking for for awhile.

I got everything I wanted. The manager was fantastic, honoring both the 20% off coupon AND the Buy 1 Get one 40% off promotion. They also honored multiple $5 and $10 off coupons that I had. I was surprised to learn that the Rewards program GilGrunt figure wasn't being handed out there, but will be shipped sometime in January to everyone eligible.

I went to two Walmarts; one looked like it had been cleared out, so I suspect they put everything out early. The other didn't have anything out, because they insisted the game was coming out on the 15th. I gave up and ordered Hoot Loop online.

My toys r us had no legendaries and insisted the frito lay coupon was a mail-in for me to mail....was very annoying and will have to go back and deal with them to get my $10 later. No one else had this problem?

Viva, we had to stand around insisting that the employees check the back for the legendaries. They had so much stock that they couldn't find them. Finally they were located. I'm assuming they had them in much smaller numbers than the normals.

pissed i did not realize there was a BOGO 40% at TRU. Will they be doing that sale at 8AM too? Went back but they must have only been open for an hour. Goinna return everything I got at Walmart so I can get the sale prices.

Nitro (still thinking) and Dark Starter (for my son; I'm passing on this) is all that's left.

WARNING: The 20% coupon only works with Giants starter packs, they were not coming off for anyone. I did get my adjusted but it took time. So I did get my starter pack for $50, but I would suggest to you they won't allow it moving forward. Technically they have no leg to stand on since it says ANY SKYLANDERS STARTER PACK.

In total I got 15 Skylanders: 2 are Swappers, 2 are legendaries, 4 are lightcores, plus 4 items/objects including the Tower of Time. The total was $175 after tax. That's less than $10 per object and even if you ignore the items, it's still a good price for that many Skylanders. I'm pretty happy with TRU right now.

Keeping it brief: They weren't prepared, had very little stock, allowed a small group of people to monopolize what little stock they did have in a very short amount of time and kept me waiting for more than a half an hour while they chased a mystery box of Lightcores that they were never able to produce.

Well i went...glad i did. The bin the guy told me it was in wasn't a bin....was a shopping cart. About 12 or 13 box's was in it. Thats all the Swap Force they got.
They did have a EHL box...its a 12 pack box. Was at the bottom of the cart. So im sure they would have be all gone by the time i got there from Target tomarrow.
So got my Enchanted Hoot Loop.



Put him on the portal to see if the swappers would light up like the Giants do...but as you can see.. they don't Witch kinda sucks..wish the swappers did light up.

The sale will still be there, the merchandise may not.

No worries. BOGO should be thru next week if I'm not mistaken---the problem will be stock availability.
