I'm very confused and I hope you guys can help. I haven't been able to keep up on all the news, and I am feeling rather overwhelmed. I have a very limited amount of time tomorrow to run out and get the game, and I want to make sure my shopping is as efficient as possible.

Preordered Dark SF PS3 at GameStop (dark variations of blast zone, wash buckle rom ninja stealth elf, mega ram spyro and slobber tooth)
Preordered regular 3DS at GameStop (rattle shake, free ranger, and volcanic eruptor) MAYBE BUY AT TARGET TO USE POTATO CHIP $10 OFF COUPON?)
Preordered Fiery Forge Battle Pack at GameStop (bumble blast and knockout terrafin)
Preordered Tower of Time Adventure Pack at GameStop (pop thorn)
**planning to buy any singles here to take advantage of the Adventure Club membership, plus I have lots of trade credit at GameStop that I can use.)

Wal-Mart Enchanted Hoot Loop (ordered online with free shipping) and Exclusive magic pack (duplicate spyro, but then I get star strike and super gulp pop fizz (is he a variant of pop thorn, or a completely different character?)

Toys R Us Legendary Free Ranger and Lightcore Grim Creeper (how is Lightcore grim creeper a TRU exclusive if Walmart is also advertising this figure???)

Target Nitro Magma Charge - available I two exclusive two packs, and in both cases I already have the other character since I am getting the 3DS starter pack which includes both of those. Will the Nitro character be available as a single, so I can avoid the duplicates?

Oh, and about Nitro Magna Charge, sadly, he isn't available as a single, (at least I don't think), but hey! You can never have two many Rattle Shake? (Get it?)

I'm more excited for SF than any of the he previous entries in the series, the swapping is pure genius. I was really impressed with the figures I saw at a Gamestop demo display--the magnets work well and all of the possible combinations add replay ability and excitement.

Can't wait to get started tomorrow!

I know how you feel, that's how I was last week. I was really sidetracked this summer and finally have everything settled so I could figure out what was what. I was overwhelmed with all the sales, exclusives and choices. I am hitting Target too for Nitro/Rattle Shake and ordered Enchanted Hoot Loop.

I preordered the Dark Edition too for xbox360.

Did you check out Toys r us yet( I'm on my ipad and I can't see your original post) They are having a huge sale and the promo for a free Gil Grunt if you spend $100

I am getting the figures, Tower of Time and possibly the 3DS version from there that I want and LC Legendary Grim Creeper. So I can get Gil Grunt.

I just saw the info about the TRU sale, and now I'm a little torn. I might go there first, see what they have at 8AM and then go to Gamestop for their 9AM opening to get my preorders and see what they have. I have a ton of trade credit at GameStop, so even if things are technically more expensive there, I'm not actually handing over real money. . . .

The good news is that I was able to turn some of my power up pro points into a $25 coupon, so I can get the dark PS3 starter kit for $75.

My poor dad. I want to hit EB Games (Dark Starter is pre-ordered), Target (Nitro Magna Charge & Rattle Shake), Toys R Us (Legendary Free Ranger--makes me think of a crow when done in black and gold. Love it!) and WalMart (Enchanted Hoot Loop!) I intend to grab everything new that isn't a variant, luck permitting, but I want to get the unique versions (or at least the unique ones I *want*) and then I'll decide if I want the normal ones. Oh! Also have Tower of Time adventure pack and the Skylanders Swap Force Collectors' Guide pre-ordered through Amazon.ca .

Lol. I'm pretty much only going to gamestop to get my dark edition. I'm ordering everything else online since I cant drive. I hope I can order nitro online as well. If not, no real lost. Can always get it later at a decent price. I hate that I will have a double rattle shake but I could either custom it or sell it.
