Fail!

I received this as well after I spent an hour on the phone with 3 different reps trying to get an answer about the bonus figure coupon. They knew nothing about the bonus figure promo and couldn't find the physical ad or 2 emails that were sent out and that I had saved. I laughed when one of the reps insisted that I couldn't just forward them the email and that I would have to fax it.

I wonder if this is just their way of telling us all off.

I got one that said it was ready...

Yes i just had the same and a freak out moment, flashbacks of last year when my skylanders giants pre order took a week to arrive..........noooooooooooooooooo, okay all sorted now, deep breaths, panic over, its all going to alright.......

No biggy guys.. this happened to me with giants. It is auto-generated if the store has not scanned in their inventory of the starter packs before a certain date. You can call your store and verify, but most likely they haven't got their shipment yet. I called and went in last round and was told this by 2 managers. Sure enough the day before launch the shipment arrived and I got the confirmation email.

Yep I got the same email this afternoon as well.

Luckily this is not my only starter pre-order, and not for my main system. Actually I was debating about changing the pre-order to another system. Some reason I think they'll have stock on the floor anyway.

I can't wait till Sunday. Very curious to see if they'll have stock on the floor that was pre-ordered but many had emails about it the order not being fulfiled. Also still two nights left for a truck to show up.

-I just hope it is not another shaft the pre-order for floor stock. However I do know how to handle that in most cases.

Oddly enough, several store managers at EBgames claim "the WiiU version wasn't even going to be manufactured, especially the Dark Edition". I'm wondering if the lack of sales on that particular version last year, has created a shortage this year (despite the increased console sales).

Portal, most retailers don't give their I store staff email addresses. The store manager typically has one. While not optimal fax is probably the best method short of driving in just like we did in 1999.

I'm a customer who's upset because I'm not being helped. It's completely unreasonable for them to expect that I'd put down my Crystal Pepsi, print out the email, then run over to Circuit City and buy a fax machine so I can fax it over. This isn't Office Space.

I think that it was about as popular as Coke II. It was only on store shelves for a few months if I am not mistaken.
