I find it VERY hard to believe that an employee of any store doesn't realize when Swap Force comes out. Arguably one of the biggest games of the year, why would they put out entire displays of figures by mistake!? I can understand a few slipping onto the shelf or a starter pack here or there...but this Target display!? They are asking for annoyed parents, as the kids won't understand "Hey we have to put this back" after the register street dates it.

I have a light-up Playstation sign and got a GameBoy when they got rid of the displays. I'm pretty sure someone even got the huge Playstation display (that included a Playstation and TV) when they got rid of it. I doubt things are ran any differently.

Actually, it looks more REPURPOSED to me.It looks exactly like the Giants one. All one has to do is to "swap out" stuff...

Our Target had all character out two days ago and had the display with characters out to swap. My lil guy saw it and we tried to purchase and it wouldn't let us until Oct 13. My lil guy told the employee they were not suppose to have them out until Sunday and advise him to put them away...lol. The employee took them all in the back room but at least my lil guy was in heaven. He can't wait till Sunday.

Most employees know jack about skylanders it's just some game. They might have been told to take the display unit out and they took that as put it all out. Some also don't read what the boxes say or they aren't label correctly. Others come in off there 2nd or 3rd job and just put stuff out and dont care. This is life it happens, this is also why the cashier/selling system locks out those upu from being sold, to prevent this.

That's cool. You know, I'm not a fan of kids. I play the game myself (well, my fiancé and I) but your kid sounds like an intelligent, well-rounded little guy. One you could sit down and have a conversation with. You don't see that a lot anymore. I work retail and see a lot of screaming/bawling/bratty little kids. I enjoy the ones, few and far between, who you can actually speak intelligently to. :-D Glad he 'gets it' and isn't too upset.

He's pretty good when it comes to things, he does have his days but we all do.
