It's these constant topics that continuously make me feel that post count should replace the gems in the panel with our user information that goes next to each post. <.<

I don't think he meant that our post number would be our rank. Is that we can see our gems already under our name/avatar. Why do we need the amount of gems again in our profile, when people can see it in our posts? I believe he was asking for that unnecessary gem count information be replaced with how many posts we have. So far, the user is the only one to be able to see how many post that users has, since it's in our settings. Notes, wants it to be public. To prevent topics like this one.

I don't mind these topics, though. Also, this is what I believe Notes meant. I'm neither supporting his thoughts or going against them. I really don't care if this were to happen or not.

They probably could have the gem count still on the user's post and just add post amount in.

Yeah. Although I've always been for axing the gems AND the rankings altogether. In my opinion, the gem count should be replaced by our join date and/or member ID number. >.>

I highly doubt she posted three-hundred and fifty thousand times. I recall it being about 70000 and she hasn't been here for awhile.

I remember it being something over 100.000 posts, but my memory might be failing me.
