Ok, so we all know about SSA sidekicks were small versions of the norm skylanders, SG sidekicks were small versions of the giants, so whats next!? swaping sidekicks is my guess. or mabye corelanders. yours?

(i think magna charge, wash buckeler, blast zone, and free ranger will be the sidekicks.)

It makes sense to make sidekicks based off of the guest stars...the swap force...however not being able to swap them might be a little weird. I'm guessing 50/50 between swap force and the new corelanders. Assuming sidekicks are even a part of this.

What if they're based off SWAP Force characters, but you have to order eight this time... and you order top/bottom halves by themselves.

Pure evil. I doubt they could even get the sidekicks that small and work with the technology though.

I don't really think they would do this, but I figured that each half would be about the size of a previous Sidekick and, together, they'd be about the size of a regular figure. That's why you'd only get a top or bottom, due to the increased cost.

They confirmed a while ago that they are thinking about SwapForce sidekicks. But if they do make them, they won't swap.

Ironically, Rattle Shake sounds EXACTLY like a sidekick as is.

I'd say some of the more likely candidates for Swapkicks would be:

Wash Buckler
Blast Zone
Magna Charge
Stink Bomb
Night Shift
Freeze Blade

Naturally, there'll only be 4.

That's what I thought---and why bother doing it if you can't replicate the experience. My thoughts now are on the new cores...or maybe they're finally moving on from this type promotion.

That just means they won't swap.

The Giantkicks aren't really any bigger than the SSA ones. Doesn't really reflect the Giant thing. It's possible for non-swapping Swapkicks.

Sidekicks are mostly just for show any way. They do nothing. Why couldn't they have Swapkicks that are just normal non-swapping figures?

Ok, guys - Here is the news straight from Vicarious Visions... There will not be Sidekicks for SWAP Force. Not sooner, not later, not ever. There is, however, going to be some kind of a summer promotion with Frito-Lay, but it WILL NOT be Sidekicks.

How do I know this and can I prove it? I'd be a fool to jump on these boards without proof, so yeah, I can prove it. I went to the Vicarious Visions' office back in September for a gaming press demo day. We got to play the first four levels of the game, speak with various members of the development team, including the founders of Vicarious Visions, and walked away with a pretty cool, only-30-ever-made prize. I specifically asked the art director and executive producer of SWAP Force if there would be Sidekicks for the new game. Both said, without a doubt, NO. BUT they will be doing some kind of summer Frito-Lay promotion.
