Let's spend the week before swap force comes out discussing some upgrade speculations, for those that weren't confirmed.

The characters that have had upgrades revealed for as of now, are: Wash Buckler, Blast Zone, Magna Charge, Rattle Shake, and Zoo lou.

What are your predictions for some other characters?

Totally predicting Zoo Lou on Boar path will be beast

I've heard that you can only have the wolf summon ability on the Wolf path, so I'm hesitant on him.

That's not very likely he'll either start with it or it will be a basic upgrade.

I watched the video, I believe his fourth and final upgrade before paths is Attack 3, the wolf.

I predict that Doom Stone will have a path for his shield and club and another for his spike wheel attacks
Slobber Tooth will probably have a melee path for his bite and tail attacks and a path for his eating ability but I believe he will have eating upgrades as apart of first four upgrades

Silent Striker: His claw attacks will most likely lead to a combo-based Attack 1 path.
*Creepy Combos: Press Attack 1, 1, 2 for a Feline Frenzy Combo and Attack 1, 2, 2 for a Purrfect Punch combo.
*Beautiful Striker: +40 armor and increased claw damage.

Snare Soldier: Bear trap attacks!
*Feel the Snap: Increased Range in Bear Trap attack.
*Going Somewhere?: Enemies damaged by the bear trap become trapped in a cage.

Shadow Energy: Based on Wash Buckler, I believe Sneak's shadow energy shown in a trailer with Free Trap will be a used in a combo-based path that is the only way to use the Shadow Energy attack. I also believe this path will have a charge attack.
*The Dark Matters: Press Attack 2 and 3 at the same time to shoot shadow energy.
*Turn Down the Lights: Hold Attack 2 and 3 to charge up your Dark Matter attack

Purrfect Panther: The obvious path for him is his sneak path.
*Foe To Foe: Press Attack 1 wile sneaking to summon an orb that attacks enemies.
*Darker Shadows: Do more increased damage to enemies in shadow form.

I would choose Silent Striker and Purrfect Panther.
