O.k. so the title says it all. How many others out there want Skylanders on P.C. again? I hardly ever get play time on the t.v. so the P.C. is where I spent most of my many hours playing SSA. I'm even o.k. with them coming out with a P.C. version months after release. I'm just curious as to whole else still wants a P.C. version. It would also be nice to see Swap Force on my rig. It's not the best but it's way better than than my PS3. I have a game pad so controls wouldn't be an issue. If they're worried about the hacking problem they simply need better protocols in place to prevent tampering. Anyone else feel this way?

I'm pretty sure that the reason for a lack of a PC version was due to the very, very poor sales of SSA on the PC. I can't stress how poorly it sold.

'meh. The Wii version has been hacked to death, but they're still coming out with that version.

Guys/Gals I'm not looking for an economic perspective here. I know it preformed poorly...it was also supported poorly. It wasn't available in all major retail outlets, it was buggy, and the graphics were bad...but I still loved it because the game itself was good. I'm just wondering who else would be interested in playing on their p.c. Forget the economics I'm talking trying to find out if there is any demand out there for a P.C. version.

I was pretty much answering your question - there's not enough of an interest to make it worth Activision's while.

Considering all the other crap I'm sure Activision put out the same year, I doubt P.C. Skylanders was their worst performer. Besides the main peripheral is already U.S.B. so it's basically the porting that's the only issue. Besides I'm still pretty sure this game is designed on a p.c. so it can't be that hard....I guess it would depend on the programing language. |

Actually, from what I saw... I wouldn't be surprised if it was the worst performer. Last I saw, the iOS starter without the Royal Double Trouble had outsold it by quite a bit... and that pack has greatly underperformed.

Wow, again I know it put up crappy sales numbers but again I'm not debating that. I'm just trying to see who wants a p.c. version...Pretend all versions of SSA sold the same total units for the purposes of this thread...m'kay??? |

I'd love a PC version. I game on handheld >> PC (largely for Minecraft, I won't lie) > TV and Skylanders has nothing for the PC now except for a few awful flash games which saddens me. I know that the PC version of SA would have been my main version if they had made it less sickeningly buggy.

Kappa - it's already been covered, it had nothing to do with hacking. The Wii version has been hacked through and through, every time. Remember, the Wii version is how we found out about the Sidekicks well before we knew *how* they'd be released.

Most if not all the major networks can and have been hacked. Turbine, Riot, Blizzard, Pretty Sure SOE. If it's just sales I could understand it. The hacking excuse is on them. They simply need to code better. Things were also different then. They didn't release footage of everyone before the game launched. We all know now what every Skylander looks like. They should be more worried that people can basically "rent" a Skylander by playing it in the package and return it for a full refund, with a receipt. That is a much larger fiscal issue than a few dozen hackers. Plus I'm pretty sure those that did hack in SSA didn't hurt the brand sales at all. At this point sales would be the only excuse. I still just want a p.c. version that would take advantage of my rigs hardware. I also get so much more play time on my p.c. since my wife and kid control the t.v. lol.

Even if fans want a PC version, it's likely we won't see that version anytime soon, seeing how Giants and Swap Force didn't have a PC release.

I play SSA on my PC because I have a 3D monitor and it looks AMAZING in 3D.
Quite sad Giants didn't come out on PC, the PC is hardly a massive market to begin with let alone after you count the fact it's a kids game. Sales must have SUCKED. PSN was definitely hacked, Sony had to pay out compensation to PSN members in the form of free games so there is no doubt. |

PC market is bad for a game like this...it's gonna stay on the consoles.
