I was getting an upgrade on my phone today, and had to go to Best Buy to do a transfer. It was gonna take while to do, so I browsed around the store to past some time. Of course I looked at their Skylanders section...nothing new. Still the same old Giants display with like, 10 Flashwings laying around. So after looking around the store for another 25-30 minutes or so, I walk past the Skylanders section to go to the video game section. I had to take a double take, and sure enough...Swap Force figures were put on the shelf. Mega Ram Spyro, Blizzard Chill, Lava Barf Eruptor, Super Gulp Pop Fizz, Countdown and Zoo Lou were all there! I couldn't believe my eyes. As I'm looking at all of them and taking pictures, the guy who works there comes over with piles of the swappers in his hands. Magna Charge, Free Ranger, and Hoot Loop were the ones I could see in his hands. He was the one stocking the shelves, and saw me looking at the ones he had already put out. He said something like "Lookin' at the new Skylanders, eh?". I nodded, and told him that I was confused since the game isn't out until the 13th...and asked if they had the starter packs already. He didn't really know much about what I was saying, so he asked another worker and the worker when in the back, and after about 5 minutes he came back and told the guy to put everything back, and that they weren't supposed to be out yet. I was kinda dissapointed, since I was gonna buy them. I hope I didn't get the guy in any trouble, lol. Well, at least I told him before he put the entire display up!

This has happened. ..at different retailers. It happens every release.

i believe ya, but i wanna see the official packaging of the characters because they aren't always correct.

Lets all cheer an honest guy who probably saved somebody his job.

If a Scalper had gone in they would simply have put the entire display in the trolley and bought the lot to ebay and make loads of money. Imagine the trouble that would have got the poor guy in.

The thing is: images are always unique proof that something exists.

I don't see why there would be any doubt to this story anyway. It's only a few weeks till release so of COURSE they are getting stocks in to stores now, would be crazy not to.
It is also common for stores to make mistakes and put stock out early.
It's not like he is claiming to have found 10 glow in the dark purple flocked Pumpkin Boomers or anything.

Just because they were displayed early doesn't mean that BB would have sold them. There are multiple stories of people finding figures in stores before launch date and the store refusing to sell them. It happened to me with Legendary Lightcore Chill at TRU. Stores will be sticking to the 10/13 launch date in order to avoid the penalties for breaking it.

Images can help your reputation on here. If you're a reliable user, you don't always need to post pictures, if you're a new user, or a distrusted one, you'll need to.

So, I kindly ask that you post pictures of this. Besides, you could've seen some sort of rare figure.

All I'm saying is that I wouldn't lie about something like this...but fine, here are the pictures since you guys need proof:

Cool..thanks for posting them...hoping Blizzard Chill's wow pow changes her helm to this helm on the figure...don't like the Imperial Armor upgrade helm.
Also glad they changed Zoo Lou mace to clear green....didn't like the solid green one ...the green was a odd color. Am a fan of the clear parts on the Skylanders

Great pics. I believed ya, I just wanted to see product pics. I'm curious how these get packed since the top of the card isn't square anymore...I know I would be just a wee bit excited if I saw them as well. Thanks for sharing.

I'm avoiding all the stores this weekend for this very reason. The way I see it, this is my last weekend of freedom before I'm chained to the Swap Force gang.

Whoa whoa whoa! Stop jumping to conclusions! I never said "Pics or it didn't happen", I believe you. I'm just saying I'd like to see the pictures.

Jeez, I can't believe I was the one to introduce doubt to this thread, when I wasn't even doubting! LOL! It's a week until release, this is TOTALLY believable. Guaranteed, really, with people always being too stupid to read street dates before putting stuff on shelves.

My dad said he found a tower of time pack with pop thorn in it and i think terrafin and the tower of time item too.

well tonight sucked, at my local wal-mart they had swap force on the shelf for all the systems, but when I got to the checkout it would not ring up saying not for sale. the guy had someone else come over but she said it was a mistake because of release date and had the electronics guy go pull all of them off the shelf.
